Per the IG account of this event, the pairings will be announced tomorrow. I can guess three of them:
Szokol/Knight (defending champs) The EMP/Castren (2nd place the last two years) Vanessa Borovilos/Sophie Stevens (the two amateurs in the field)
MHL (#21 on CME) is skipping this one ... I'm quite surprised that her 2023 partner is also skipping it, Unlucky Five (#135 on CME).

Just missing out the past two years must have really gotten to The EMP... Until the Meijer last week, she hadn't made a weekend (outside of two no-cut Asian swing events) since last year's Dow. Castren hasn't done much better. But hope springs eternal... She's slumming playing this week's Epson event as a tune-up for the Dow.

Is there an easy to read full field list out yet?

Is there an easy to read full field list out yet? There's a download link at the Dow Championship website, but that only gives you the full field, NOT the pairings. Maybe a lot of players don't plan for a partner until the last minute. Btw, The EMP bombed out in the minor leagues over the weekend.

Guess I'll just wait til Wednesday!

I just arrived here at the Dow Championship. Weather looks great with a chance of some rain on Saturday. My field rating for this event is a very surprising 56%, way up from 25% last year when the Evian Championship was the following week. This year there is a week off before the players have to fly to France, and that change has resulted in a much stronger field! My breakdown is a solid 63% from the LPGA Priority List and 49% from the Rolex Rankings. Seven of the top ten players in the world will be in attendance: Jin Young Ko (3) Ruoning Yin (4) Amy Yang (5) Celine Boutier (6) Charley Hull (8) Rose Zhang (9) Yuka Saso (10) Top ten players skipping the event this week: Nelly Korda (1) Lilia Vu (2) Hannah Green (7)
Other stuff: Jenny Shin (23) and Yuna Nishimura (19) had their cut streaks stopped this past weekend. Ally Ewing (19) now has the longest current streak. Amy Yang's victory at the KPMG earned her a spot at this year's Olympic games. It was the first victory for a player from South Korea this year. Gabriela Ruffels increases her lead in the Louise Suggs Rookie of the Year race. She now has 407 points to Jin Hee Im's 376. But the big move was made by Mao Saigo who now has 365 points.
As there always is after a major championship, there were some big moves in the Rolex Rankings this week: Lilia Vu's second place finish keeps her at No.2, and although she is miles away from the top spot, she now has a huge lead over third place. Jin Young Ko moves up a spot into the 3rd position. Amy Yang makes the most important move this week, exploding from number 20 to 5. Ally Ewing moves from 19 to 16, and came within one spot of making the Olympic games. She needed a top 15 to get in. Lexi Thompson climbs from 39 to 33. Hinako Shibuno jumps from 62 to 49. Mao Saigo leaps from 61 to 51. Esther Henseleit advances from 70 to 64. Sarah Schmelzel bounces up from 73 to 64. Outside the top 100: Bianca Pagdanganan springs up from 126 to 113. Lauren Hartlage skyrockets from 273 to 133. Caroline Inglis catapults from 296 to 168.

Some Stats on the new Korean Golfers and Stats that stand out. Putting has always been some getting used to when they first come over. I followed Jin Young Ko her first year six times and she was getting frustrated getting use to the greens. So the new golfers also will get better on the greens. Some notable ranking on why the golfers is maybe struggling. Ranking. Greens in Regulation 1 Hae Ran Ryu 10 Yu Jin Sung 15 Hye Jin Choi 35 Jin Hee Im 48 A Lim Kim 76 So Mi Lee 93 Jiwon Jeong 158 Jeong Eun Lee6 Putting 11 Jeong Eun Lee6 73 Jin Hee Im 118 Yu Jin Sung 119 So Mi Lee 122 Ji Won Jeong 136 Hye Jin Choi 152 Hae Ran Ryu

Just remember the precedent, Leona Maguire 2nd in an obscure tournament in Michigan, USA, 2021-22, then Leona won the Meijer in 2023.
KT and Matilda 2nd in an obscure pairs tournament in Michigan, USA, 2022-23... what will happen in the Dow this year...
I will miss Ph.D. chemical engineer Kimberly Dinh though... apparently missing the cut in LANK-uh-stir was her closest approach to a moment of glory in 2024... last year she and her partner Jasmine Ly of Windsor, Ontario, Canada made the cut in Midland which is more than could have been said of the pair of Lexi and Brooke...

The Media/Press Site section on the LPGA website has the pairings list now ... includes the Southern Cal washout duo of Annie Park/J. Chang. Some of the team are obvious, while others look like the last kids picked on the playground.
Eugenia/Chairwoman Mao - I assume they became fast friends as rookies and the "golf English" between them is sufficient to function as a team Gina Kim/Hyo Joon Jang - young Koreans
Inky/Haeji - old Koreans DK/The Old Ko - Ko was assigned to DK as her LPGA baby sis ten years ago Laisne/Schubert - Texas Longhorns Gillman/Budde -Texas Longhorns Ryann/Ice Cream Princess - ?
Yuri/Beck - ? Reto/Amelia Lewis - ?

I'm surprised team Dookie Gina Kim and JB are not playing together, the latter is now upgraded with CW.
I don't even think AP and Jen would win this event if it were on the Epson tour 😭. Also surprising is Jasmine S and Clanton are no longer together.
I thought Sei Young and Ji Won Jeon were a pair but I don't see them on the sheet.
Some formidable duos appear to be
LC + Bailey Gabi + Esther H Grant + Ciganda Jeen + Ronni are probably the favorites.

My heart says you could be right, but my brain says they won't make the weekend. Kang and Ko from 10 years ago. Could be the team to beat.

Yuri + Beck is as random as it gets 😂 Lexi playing with Nasa years ago takes the cake though
