I can see why Lexi is one the most popular players, mainly off the strength that she played in a PGA Tour event last year, which was bigger news than anything that happened on the LPGA.

Golf is a niche sport. Women's golf is a niche of a niche. Korean women's golf (at least in the US) is a niche of a niche of a niche.
Just remember that the next time a live LPGA playoff gets kicked off NBC so they can show a week-old tape of a monster truck competition.
I'm no fan of Lexi(TM) and the way she awkwardly digs foot-long animal pelts out of the fairway. But I recognize that no one else has broken through the noise like her and it will be a huge loss to attendance and TV ratings when she's gone.

I thought AP + Jen would nosedive today but they are good position to nab a top 10 tomorrow! the Giant Lims played poorly instead 😐
Hopefully one of Haeji/Inky or Auston/Grace wins tomorrow!

Round 3
I was really hoping that So Mi and Hae Ran would play better today, although they still have a good shot at a top ten, which would help So Mi tremendously. So good luck to them!
Alas, if you are more than two shots back it's almost impossible to make up the ground and win unless you shoot an insanely low round. Rooting for Jin Young/Nasa and Mao/Yu Jin to rally and get into the hunt. It would be cool for the Japanese and Koreans to get their first win here at the same time. If Jin Young just makes putts like I know she can, this could get good!
Of course, the players I REALLY would love to see win this are Inky and Haeji. Inky has been out in the boondocks so long that I doubted I'd ever see her on a broadcast again. Her winning here would be crazier than Amy winning a Major at 34. It still seems unlikely, but given the random nature of this event, why not? GO GO GO!

Great low round of the day by In Kyung Kim and Haeji Kang.
They are in the Final Group so they should get Broadcast time
Hopefully So Mi Lee/Hae Ran Ryu and Yu Jin Sung/Mao Saigo can have a good round.
To move up in the CME Globe Ranking.
I used to play in the two-man City Championship here, but the format was different.
The first round was called a Scotch twosome (alternate shots) 2nd round scramble,
third round best ball and Final round both player score was used.
