Amy Yin/Papp another group - the latter made 6 birdies + eagles but only managed a 68! I would guess Rose 99 pct compared to CW 1 pct Maybe Yealimi can string together some birdies today to crack the top 60 of CME by sunday's end and keep the arrow trending upwards! I don't expect Yealimi will qualify for US Women's Open next Tuesday April 30. Β Her best chance is to move her Rolex Ranking from current #153 to inside #100, any new Rolex points will help. Right now yealimis buddy Soo Bin Joo is hanging up there on Epson this week, though insert young Taiwanese golfer is going to win again π

I fear for Six. She has this nice snazzy clothing deal with Malbon and has started playing like that other well known clothes horse Muni He. Will keep the photographers happy on Thurs/Fri but will have the weekends free I love Six. She's cute, has a great personality, is an amazing player when she's on, and has one of the most touching personal stories in golf. But I gotta be honest, I'm not sure if she'll ever get back to where she once was. It's been about two years since she nearly won the HSBC and her results seem to get worse and worse. Hope springs eternal, but it doesn't feel like there is any reason to be optimistic about her prospects right now.

Jin Hee is on fire today! 8 birdies, one bogey through 15, has moved from 61st to t-5th, -5 total. She might not be able to win but she's sure making her presence felt!

Jin Hee shot a 63!!! Excellent round of golf! She's moved to 6 under, tied for third at the moment. So Mi was only one under, but that's still not too bad. At the turn, Yu Jin is three under. Nice to see the rookies all having good days.

Tom Abbott should regret talking bad about Jin Hee Im at Chevron - and better get used for saying her name a lot in the future

These final groups are on the struggle bus big time. Nasa and Im licking their chops for tomorrow.

I was traveling much of the day and originally intended to post the comment, "Who plugged in Patty Tavatanakit?!?!?"
But as the day went on, all I can say is Jin! Hee! Im!
Honorable mention to Nasa with a minus-7 round just short of Jin Hee's minus-8...
Grace looks nothing like she did on Thursday and Friday. JIN HEE could win this tomorrow!

If Jin Young could make one fricking birdie she could move into the top ten and be positioned for an outside chance at the title. But it's been par after par. She hasn't gained any ground today alas. She hasn't lost any, either, but this final hole seems to be a double bogey bonanza, so I'd better keep quiet until she makes it off of it.
Sei Young has been awful, but Hae Ran is so-so and might sneak into one of the final groups. We'll see.
Hwaiting!

Hannah is scary when stalking the lead.
If EKP could putt, she would have multiple wins by now with her ball striking.
Amy Yin almost aced 18
The announcers cant quit reiortating that the course is fine implying they are just playing bad π

Naturally Jin Young bogied 18. At least it wasn't a double. Sigh.

Memo to Korda Two: Nothing and no one to worry about here. ********* "Fourth fairway?" No. 4 is a par-3 of 143 yards on Saturday ... The Rocket hit a double here. The 2 OZ buddies tied in the final pairing. Id have to give the edge to Hannah who is defending champ here but Grace will play better tomorrow Minjee will be watching from her sofa Im and Nasa will continue their hot play and I think the winner will be decided btwn one of them.
Yu Jin sung imploded after her nice start but in a good spot to earn points tomorrow, if yealimi can fire a low round she may get another top 10!

A great Tournament record by Jin Hee Im I believe. She will be trying to just making the cut, pay off big time.
I may give up on A Lim Kim starting to win, she is a Sei Young Kim without the wins. Good to see Hae Ran Ryu get back to even par for the day after two over front nine.

Nelly is kicking herself now for not showing up for an easy 6th straight win against this gang that couldn't shoot straight.
