I fear for Six. She has this nice snazzy clothing deal with Malbon and has started playing like that other well known clothes horse Muni He. Will keep the photographers happy on Thurs/Fri but will have the weekends free

Will keep the photographers happy on Thurs/Fri but will have the weekends free Malbon is a death sentence. (J/k) Yealimi got out of there quick! Even Muni has played better than Six lately 💀 I noted earlier that the stats support it - as she is dead last in GIR pct, which is a measurable stat for any relevance on tour. Either way, I hope she is happy off the course is the most important! I think the collapse at Evian was a fatal blow to her confidence on the course. Playing at LET Seoul Aramco can be a good time to get her mojo back. She will captain her own team and as the local fans cheer her on, but I'm not her agent. Do the Malbon thing.

Yet Charley Hull played the round with Malbon splashed across her rump and she did it without shooting plus+4 on the round and missing another cut... I have been hoping, over and over, that on occasions when Six had a solid to awesome round or two... she's finally escaping whatever it is... Just keep hoping...

The Korean golfers sure had trouble finishing the round. Yu Jin Sung, bogey 17,18, Hye Jin Choi double bogey 16, Sei Young Kim double bogey 18. Hae Ran Ryu double bogey 17, bogey eighteen. So Mi Lee bogey 16, 18 and Jin Hee Im bogey 17 was lucky the cut fell to plus two to make it.
On the other hand, Hyo Jo Kim although her game was off stepped up and made birdie on seventeen to make the cut. The newer golfers need time to get used to the new culture, but Hye Jin Choi and Sei Young Kim needs to do better.
A shout out to Jin Young Ko minus four to move up on the Leaderboard.

[br I noticed Natalya Goose and Mina Harigae wearing the brand too. Jason Day on the PGA tour always getting clowned by his ridiculous Malbon attire 😂 - it looks nicer on the ladies.

Ok I missed Min Ji Kang bogey on her last hole to miss the cut by one shot. Good news all three Rookies from the KLPGA made the cut, with fifteen other Korean Golfers. Only four missed the cut.

Only four missed the cut.18 out of 22 is actually quite a successful weekend. Just wish that more of them were competitive at the top instead of just squeaking above the cut. It would be great to see Haeran, Sei Young, and Jin Young end up in the top ten on Sunday afternoon.

New kid update after the cut... they all made it... Rose and Chanettee in the top ten, both at minus-4, Rose with Haeran and Chanettee with Sei Young on Saturday afternoon. (Anyone have an opinion on how frequently we'll see Rose and Chanettee on Saturday's broadcast? Over/under on how many holes we'll see each one? I say Rose 10 holes and Chanettee 3 holes. You can all laugh at me tomorrow...)
Alexa was looking good... then she 'Kanged' her final nine on Friday... her Saturday tee time is 7:45, say no more... only Ciganda is earlier, all by herself... But Carlota only cares about two things at this point in her career, she and her teammate Maguire and whatever Scandinavians can help them, destroying team USA at RTJ in September... and winning Evian in July and SLAMMING those lecherous guys at the trophy ceremony. I honestly think that Boutier would have done it last year except that she herself was a French citizen and it would have been a national scandal. Ciganda does not have that constraint...
Speaking of Danielle, "[Alexa] 'Kanged' her final nine...", I'm not the first person on this thread to ask if she is hurt? What is with her?!?!?

Round 2
With two holes to play, both Sei Young Kim and Hae Ran Ryu were right in the hunt. Kim made double on the last. Hae Ran made double-bogey on the final two. Just like that, they are out of contention. Hae Ran's was particularly awful. Her second landed in the fringe just past the hole and she FOUR PUTTED from there.
Yes, a bunch of them made the cut and are now competing for the low end of the top 20. And it is true that Jin Young had a nice day. But it's almost 100% certain that the Sisters will have another week without a win, and it's not going to get any easier the next month.

They've got some really good pairings on Saturday ... MHL/Bianca ... The Rocket/Dr. Noh ... Furoo/Shibuno Fever ... Mack Attack/Ice Cream Princess ... wish I were there ... I hope The Old Goofball will be there. Btw, Ciganda will be the first player out as a solo at 7:40 AM ... if anybody could still end up out of position in this situation ...

Amy Yin/Papp another group - the latter made 6 birdies + eagles but only managed a 68!
I would guess Rose 99 pct compared to CW 1 pct
Maybe Yealimi can string together some birdies today to crack the top 60 of CME by sunday's end and keep the arrow trending upwards!

I don't expect Yealimi will qualify for US Women's Open next Tuesday April 30. Her best chance is to move her Rolex Ranking from current #153 to inside #100, any new Rolex points will help.

Yes many of the Koren players are just inside the cut line, but they have two rounds to move up. That's better than missing the cut and not even getting a chance for a big payday. Besides Jin Hee Im can move closer to the top of Rookie of the year, even though Gabriela Ruffels is one of my favorites.

Early on day three, So Mi and Jin Hee are moving up the leaderboard. So Mi in particular could use a good finish to boost her confidence. Yu Jin hasn't started yet.
