I hate the Aussie coverage...especially the back and forth between the lady reporters...and we have 2 weeks of them in the Asia swing too...ugh. I know she gets no luvin here cause she has a mean mother and she's a fake Korean...but I'm rooting for Lydia. Deadbetter continues to destroy Ko's swing...when will The Dragon Lady wake up and send Lydia to a 'real' coach. www.golfchannel.com/media/cause-concern-what-tripp-sees-kos-swing/But if Ko can't get it done....it will be good to see a showdown between Kang and Shin for their 1st win. Both have a bit of drama...they have been "Mericanized"....but I give a slight edge to Shin...she's just a touch less dramatic. Homura has been playing well lately...I wouldn't be surprised to see her pull it off. The Smiling Buddha predicts a playoff....so set your PVR's accordingly. I think Shin has Ciganda's loop on her bag.

fanofseri Are you at Riviera watching Dumbo Johnson and the big whiner, Bubba. I didn't go this year. I wanted to see McIlroy. I still cant believe how easily he hit 17 in two. I also like watching Johnson. He should have three majors, if he wasn't such a dummy. As usual not many fans in attendance.

Brooke Henderson, -3 after 7 and -1 for the round.
Being 18, traveling 10,000 miles to Australia probably not something she is used to.
It's a pity that Brooke isn't in Thailand field, because her official 2015 earnings was $100,294 and ranked No. 90.
She didn't become a LPGA member until she won Cambia Portland Classic; only her earnings after that counted as official money.

Well at least some on this site will be happy The Entitled Canadian Princess wasn't spoon fed another sponsor's exemption into the Honda...besides...Brooke drives a Beamer. Brooke can go try to beat up on the tier 2's that will be at the Oz Masters next week.

That's too bad you won't be able to see Bubba, the mental midget, live tomorrow when he gags it up and loses and then cries like a baby like he usually does at the pressers.

Mike Whan should grant her a mulligan and give her her rookie status back. The kid is clearly a victim of some exceptional stupidity and greed of her own dad. The net gain from her (his) decision to turn pro after Portland ? One extra start at Yokohama Tire Classic. It's such a shame. Not only its a middle finger to the ROY award, she would have made it an interesting race with the fake rookie Dumbo.

Brooke's dad will burn The Canadian Princess out this year especially with a compressed schedule and on off weeks....Brooke will be looping for Brittany to save the family a few bucks. Brooke will make Chella Choi look like a P/T player.

Danielle and Jenny didn't do it, but congratulations to 1st time winner Nomura!
Winning 1st title is so hard, I'm happy In Gee doesn' t have to worry about it.
Hope In Gee gives it a good shot in Thailand; if not, would love to see Bo Mee as the 1st time winner.

Good win by Nomura - nice play indeed despite the bogey on 18. This is her 3rd career win and first on the LPGA. She has now won on the JLPGA, KLPGA and now US LPGA Tour.

Those of you who remember my old partner over at Mostly Harmless The Constructivist might remember him being a huge fan of Japanese players. If he is ever going to come out of the woodwork, it's now. I like the idea that Bruce was just hiding for the past four years, waiting for a Japanese winner. Good thing BangkokBobby doesn't do that with the Thai players - we'd never see him. Glad to see Nomura win. I don't know much about her, and yet I found myself rooting for her to win.
