I like Yewon, but I hope not. I'm kind of getting sick of her winning all the time. I hope Hyun Kyung gets it. LOL LOL

I hope Hyun Kyung wins because she has talked all week about how she wants to do better than last year, when she finished runner up. Well, she has the chance, and she really wants this, so I'm rooting for her. Yewon won just last week, she doesn't need to win again so soon. It's only May, she has plenty of time to rack up wins this season.
But either way I'll be happy. It's a great final four.

=== Final Four:
=== Ina Yoon loses 3 & 2 to Yewon Lee
Ina just didn't have it today. A lot of OK drives and iron shots but generally not very close to the pin and few birdies. Yewon was typical Yewon: no mistakes at all, a few birdies, relentless.
=== Hyun Kyung Park wins 2 & 1 over So Young Lee
This one was a more interesting match, with the lead going back and forth until Hyun Kyung seized control with a few holes to go.
Final round: Yewon Lee vs. Hyun Kyung Park Consolation: Ina Yoon vs. So Young Lee

Hyun Kyung and Yewon are pretty good acquaintances. Hyun-kyung said something about having lunch with Yewon in a couple weeks.
They get along well.
If Hyun-kyung makes enough birdies, there's little Yewon can do.

Wow, So Young Lee has suddenly turned into Nelly Korda just in time to play Ina. She's made birdie after birdie and is now five up (!) and that's despite Ina winning a hole. How crazy? One of those was a 35 foot birdie putt. Oh well, things went well for Ina before today! Hopefully she'll take that away from this week and have more luck next week.

Yewon got a crazy birdie putt again on 10, but Hyun-Kyung matched with her own birdie. Grrrrrr 2 Down 8 to go.

Park was kind in the interview saying how she couldn't relax with a lead because it's Yewon.
Who will see Park Hyun-kyung at the US Open?

Final round: Yewon Lee vs. Hyun Kyung Park
=== Hyun Kyung Park 1 up over Yewon Lee; Hyun Kyung Park wins!
This one was ruled by Park most of the day. Lee caught her late and even took a 1 up lead, but Park rallied, winning the final two holes to claim the title and improve on her runner-up finish from last year.
=== Consolation: Ina Yoon loses 5 & 4 to So Young Lee
Ina struggled to an even par round. She was hitting it 30+ yards past Lee but Lee was getting her irons closer repeatedly, and when she didn't she made several 30+ foot birdies. As a result, she quickly established a 5 up lead on Yoon and strolled to an easy win.

Congrats to Cuteiful for the W. Good overall result for Ina Yoon who should surge up the Rolex Rankings once again.

Here's an example of why Miss Photogenic struggled against Miss Manners. On a back nine par 5 she drove the ball over 270 meters (which is a hair under 300 yards), about 40 yards further than her opponent. Easily reached the green in two with an iron. Win coming? Not so fast! Meanwhile, Miss Fashionable duked it out with Miss Champion.
