Last time I looked at the leaderboard Hee Jeong Lim had a two up lead through twelve.. Figured that she would win the Match I figured wrong. Mo matter though, I still have fate that she will right the ship eventually.

There is a little controversy in the match between Su Ji Kim and Ina Yoon. Ina made Kim putt a shortish par save (no concession), after which Kim made Ina putt two straight short putts in the rain instead of giving concessions.
Personally, I don't think this is a big deal, but it felt a little like Kim was doing it just to get back at Ina and she has received a little blowback from the fans.
This is the end of the match. Kim is in trouble, tries to get out, fails, concedes the match, then walks off without seemingly hugging or shaking hands with Yoon. This has apparently also caused controversy. Again, I don't blame her for wanting to get under cover from the rain, and at least one fan claimed they later shook hands in the tent. Drama!

The event is apparently happening in Min Byeol's hometown. Here are some highlights from her match with Jeongmin Moon:

Not sure if this means anything, I checked Hee Jeong Lim score when she was on the thirteenth hole. So I decided to watch some of the Broadcast and Su Ji Kim and Ina Yoon was on the twelfth hole I believe. Su Ji putted out for par and the strange thing Ina Yoon had probably a one foot putt, Su Ji didn't give it to her, just walked off. It's probably meant nothing as Su Ji was three down and probably thinking about that.

Thanks guys for helping me to re-live Hamilton Farm with Janice Moodie lecturing Mickey Mouse on not knowing match play etiquette ... "that means you think I couldn't make that putt ... that's disrespectful."

It was worse than I thought about Hee Jeong Lim finishing in a tie in the Match. On Naver they said that Hee Jeong won ten, 12, and fourteen to go three up with four holes to play. However, she conceded fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen to go to eighteen tied. She missed a two and half meter birdie putt on eighteen to miss the win. Hopefully she can win today and put that in the past.

The good news is that Hee Jeong Lim is paired against Ina Yoon, which means she will get Broadcast time. The bad news is she needs a win and is paired against a tough golfer.
edit: Maybe not Hee Jeong Lim starts on the back nine again. At least Ina kept her from being the last tee time again. They sure mistreat her, even last year she got crummy tee times.

Su Yeon Jang, the old plow horse from Hampyeong Golf High School, conceded her second round match and I assume she'll do the same with her next match ... she must be injured. I saw her play a little in her first abortive match ... her backswing looked short or restricted ... she scalded a low ball that bounced off and over the 1st green and I guess it got no better after that.

Well I think it's perfectly fine if you make your opponent putt out, that's part of the game. But it's interesting that the commentators were surprised by it, and the commenters on YouTube sure seemed to want to build it up into bad blood between them. No offense to Hee Jeong, but I'll be rooting for Ina today.

Yeesh, I just finished watching Min Byeol and Jeongmin Moon's match. Wow, neither of them were playing well at all. But Min Byeol just looks totally defeated. It's so weird, I've never seen her like that. Like she couldn't wait for it to be over.
It didn't help that Moon chipped in on the 17th hole to take the lead, but Kim was looking at a ten foot par she almost certainly would not have made.
She needs to go to a short game boot camp stat. Get her confidence back. Moon was all over the map on the front nine and Kim did not take advantage of it.

No offense to Hee Jeong, but I'll be rooting for Ina today. Hee Jeong hasn't played all that well all year, and now, the one time I don't want her to play well, of course she's playing great. 2 up early. Come on Ina, buckle down!!

Bang is up three on Song Yi Ahn and just holed out from the fairway. When it's your day it's your day.

Hee Jeong Lim really isn't playing that well. Besides it's hard to tell how she has played all year because they don't show her. It may be just that's she is missing putts. With her left-hand grip turned over that far to the right she will forever be fighting hook shots. That what got So Yeon in trouble. Oh, by the way I am rooting for Hee Jeong to win although I don't think that she will.
Ok as soon as I wrote that Hee Jeong missed a short par putt to drop to one up. Unless her coach changes her grip back it's going to be a long dry period.
That flatter swing only work for short golfers.

How did Han Sol Ji lose her really good golf game. Seung Yeon Lee is the best bad golfer that I have ever seen. Still love her
