Ina turned on the jets and won 3 of the next 4 holes to put Ee Ga Young away.
Hyo Ju You was 3 down to Cutieful in must win position. She made a clutch birdie on 16 to cut it to 2, and seconds ago hit a masterful approach to 2 feet on 17 while Park messed up. Drama!
[EDIT]: Park striped her third on 18 to four feet. You has to win the hole to force a playoff, so looks like Hyun Kyung dodged a bullet.

Crazy: Ga Eun Song was dormie over Jeongmin Moon, but Moon birdied 17 and they went to 18. Song then hit her drive into the woods and it looks like they will be going to a playoff. Never give up!

HappyFan,
Is Yewon still angry about Japan?

Quarterfinals
Left side:
=== Sun Ju Ahn lost 4 & 3 to So Young Lee
Sun Ju looked really tired out there in this battle.
=== Hyun Kyung Park won 6 & 5 over Jeongmin Moon
This was a massacre; Moon was down 4 by the 6th hole and never recovered.
Right side: === Yewon Lee won 1 up over Ji U Ko
I missed the end, but Yewon had a three shot lead most of the day only to see Ko rally and nearly steal this.
=== Ina Yoon won 3 & 2 over Carrie Park
Ina was ahead all day, but Park hung tough and Ina was not at her best.
Final Four:
Ina Yoon vs. Yewon Lee Hyun Kyung Park vs. So Young Lee
Yewon and Hyun Kyung had a bye round; will this help them to get to the finals?

The KLPGA could not have scripted a more interesting and popular final four. Hyun Kyung Park has been playing really great and she seems especially motivated to win, having finished runner-up last year. So Young Lee will have her hands full.
The Yewon-Ina pairing is fascinating. The last time they battled (last week!), Yewon got the trophy, but Ina had the better round. That time, Yewon had a four-stroke cushion entering Sunday, but this time they will be even. So, it's hard to call. It feels like Ina is not playing her best all the time, but she gets on impressive runs like against Su Ji Kim, a great player she beat easily. Yewon's short game, however, is next level. It feels like she makes a great putt every other hole. Should be a corker!

Geez, Yewon just sunk a forty foot birdie. Ina is not taking advantage of her length, and if she gets into a putting contest with Lee she is going to lose.
Turn on the jets, Ina! There's still time to take this one! Every time Ina makes a birdie she wins the hole, but she's only made two birdies.

The only thing keeping Ina in this is that Yewon is hitting substandard irons right now. But Lee absolutely is not going to make a bogey, and Ina is not hitting good irons either, even though she is 30 - 40 yards closer and in the range she considers her "ideal" (60 - 70 M); supposedly she makes 75% birdies from this range, but hasn't made a single one since I've been watching. The only way Ina wins is by making lots of birdies.
In other words, Lee is playing her ideal game: defensive, no mistakes, a few birdies, while Yoon is not play her ideal game: aggressive, lots of birdies to offset a few mistakes.
Oh well, if she loses, she's still had a great run and another top five. Hwaiting!

It hasn't been very fun to watch this one. It's a war of attrition: Lee has been playing mediocre iron game but great short game. Ina hasn't done much of anything to be happy about or mad about, just overall meh. Disappointing after the fireworks last week. After the tee shot on 16, I'm pretty sure it's over for Ina [EDIT: yep, she gave it away by missing par by inches].
I wish she had played fantastic even if the result were the same, so at least it would have been enjoyable to watch. I don't think there was a single highlight on Ina's side today.
Congrats to Yewon, she was definitely the better golfer.

Is Yewon going to win back to back Sundays?

I like Yewon, but I hope not. I'm kind of getting sick of her winning all the time. I hope Hyun Kyung gets it.
