Eesh. Inbee turned into Christine Song this week. Also, Lewis is hovering around the cut line, and Lexi needs to go to work. Lydia Ko looks like a genius for not playing this week.

Haru Nomura, lest we forget, is half Korean.  (wondering why she has the Hanwha cap? That's why). Inbee was trying to set our expectations low, but I certainly didn't see that bad a score in her. Last year, she still made a run at the title and finished top five. Ah well, when she starts annihilating the fields in a few weeks, this will all be a dim memory. Other than her, it's nice that Ha Na, Hyo Joo and Sei Young all got out to decent starts. Even Julie Yang and Christine Song managed even par rounds. Chella and Il Hee could also do something, and wouldn't it be special if HYP, just four back, made a run? Go Sisters! |

There is nobody at this event watching. Nobody watches women's golf....this is not news. Atlantis is a very expensive resort....likely a really costly mandatory resort fee too in addition to all the other costs....so no fanboys are gonna fly there to watch some skirts chasing a white ball. The golf attendance is free. There was a free tix promo to the Sybase match play event...there are 12 million people within 2 hrs....no one showed up to that event except for TonyJ and Cindy. |

Only fourwaymiss and I appreciate the GREATNESS of Tom Abbott....he was making fun of the GIMME and Charley incident and whether they were exchanging muffin recipes during play today.
Parsons must be hot under the collar.....except for GIMME....Team PXG is choking it up......Recari, Gerina, Sadena and Crusty are all well outside the cut line.
Hmmmmm....so is Winbee really injured or is she making an excuse so she can put her bikini on tomorrow to swim with the dolphins and Snapchat.
I luv how 16 was playing into the wind with many pros requiring a FW or hybrid to reach the green.
The Canadian Princess played some really nice sawed off shots into the greens...the gal has touch......Brooke missed a lot of putts.
Jaye Marie Green is such a chatter box with all her playing partners.
So is the bee sting setting up an excuse for Wiesy when she misses the cut tomorrow?
The new LPGA rookie commercial is really funny....but they are using last year's rookies.....why didn't they invite the almost certain.....2016 LPGA Rookie of the Year....Dumbo (yes....this is In Gee Chun's REAL nickname...it's on her golf bag).

I'm all for it...but The Rocket, The Mini Rocket and SYR are 'fake' Koreans too....they are the only Koreans golf pros we've seen in bikinis on cyberspace. HYP at pool today.....Luv The Rocket!!  |

I'm all for it...but The Rocket, The Mini Rocket and SYR are 'fake' Koreans too....they are the only Koreans golf pros we've seen in bikinis on cyberspace. It was a three-way competition between Jee Young Lee , Ju Young Park, and Sei Young Kim. I don't know when it was shot...I'm guessing they were in Florida in the winter as everyone was bundled up in jackets. After a warm-up on the range (Hee Young Park was there helping out her sister), they played two or three holes. Near the end, the program host had each player hit two extremely long greenside bunker shots from the same spot. The Mini-Rocket could not reach the green with either shot, so I assume she was eliminated somehow. The next episode will be shown on Sat. 1/30 at 5AM (Korea time). I have no clue who'll be in it. It may be more than coincidence that Jee Young Lee is doing the color for JTBC Golf's LPGA broadcast. |

Oh, the other reason I started following the non-americans was that the US Solheim team was impossible to root for during about a 6 year window. What you mean you didn't like the antics/drama of the Yank divas of MW. Pouty Face, Crusty Kerr, The Pink Diva and Xtina at the Solheim? Ole Ole!! What?! I can't hear you!  |
