Just going through what looks like the featured pairings for the lid lifter today.
Hull, Korda and Alison Lee are paired. SMH.
Paula, SYK, and Lexi. Good thing SYK won last year or she'd be deep sixed.
Brittany, Yani and Wiesy. Wear a helmet if you're following this group on the course.
Maybe Annie Park, Georgette Rolle and Woods get some TV time.
Pace, Ai Miyazato and Ariya Jutanugarn to round it out.

I was trying to put the best 2 pairings I'd like to see in a group.
Ko, Chun, Brooke and SYK, HJK and Minjee. But that's still leaving out a lot of great young talent. The LPGA is so good right now.

"The True Number One"...   ...watched her miss a 3-footer...later, one of her approach irons scooted across a green and almost ended up on the beach.   I don't think Mi Hyang received any TV time, aside from celebrating Mo Martin's ace at #12.   HJ Kim   Same old Stacy Lewis after she misses a putt  ...also has switched to T/M M1 driver. Looks like Juli and Alison are getting more out of PXG gear this week than Zack Johnson did last week. |

I was never a big SKor fan boy but it bothered me that "golf fans" said they didn't watch the LPGA because none of them spoke 'merican. Most people are really just men's golf fans, which means they might not really like golf, IMO. Actually what really pissed me off was how Yani wasn't getting much press. She's been my fav for a long time and still is. Because of Tiger...there are a lot of clowns playing golf nowadays.....I didn't see as many fools back in the 60's, 70's or 80's. These are the same clowns that think they can play......they would get demolished by the LPGA pros....they whine that they're not interested seeing a woman hit a hybrid 170 yards....idiots. |

Oh, the other reason I started following the non-americans was that the US Solheim team was impossible to root for during about a 6 year window. What you mean you didn't like the antics/drama of the Yank divas of MW. Pouty Face, Crusty Kerr, The Pink Diva and Xtina at the Solheim? Ole Ole!! |

I forgot Charley was paired with GIMME....too bad Tutta wasn't playing.
After missing two 4 foot putts on 16 & 17....looks like Alison does need some gimme's.
GIMME has a lot of sex appeal.
So after Larry the Loop tipped us off that MW would have a new loop....my previous guess of Dave Brooker was correct....I wonder who Duncan French is looping for?
Seems like Craig Castrale is on Mo Martin's bag.
Seems like Chella can't let go of the pacifier....Daddy Caddy still looping.
Hmmmm....more injury drama from Wiesy....bee sting.

MHL looked really happy when Mo aced the par 3....which is not really MHL's MO.....hmmmm....new boyfriend??
Then didn't show much of MHL....I couldn't figure out if Old Mike was looping.
EDIT.....after watching my recording...there's a black gentleman on MHL's bag.....likely a local??
As I've said before...MHL looks moody and maybe a tough gal to loop for....supposedly Jenn Johnson is another tough pro to loop for....who switches through many caddies.
But many pros have won with locals....including Korda & Lydia.
Come on Phil....loop for MHL at the Shoprite...you know that course.

You mean Winbee turned into Webb Simpson?! I don't remember the shot, but I'll take your word for it...and LPGA leaderboard now shows her as a WD. FYI, JTBC Golf will show replays of Round One on Friday at Noon, 5:30 PM, and 10:30 PM (Korean times). Remember they are 14 hours ahead of EST. |
