Interesting about non-Koreans being sponsored by Korean companies. I've always wondered how big the contract was the LPGA had with JGolf, the Korean broadcast company. I've heard it was the largest single source of revenue for the LPGA but can't find the current number. I think it was recently renewed though.

How does a white girl get a big time Korean sponsor? My guess it has little to do with golf and everything to do with wearing extremely "form-fitting" top and exceptionally short skort. Exhibit A and B, Sandra Gal and Sydnee Michaels. Who else am I missing ? Bam Bam was with Mirae Asset for at least three seasons...seen here at the 2011 CN CWO...as far as meeting the wardrobe requirements listed above, well, those days are long gone for her. JY Shin is the first player I can remember with a Mirae Asset cap...I don't who M.A. has on the LPGA these days.

For those who don't recall, Eun Hee made a ~25 foot birdie on the final hole to win by a shot. Yeah, pretty exciting! And she was paired with Cristie Kerr who very heartily hugged and congratulated her, which brought some positive comments on this site re Cristie as I recall. Crusty is an Academy Award winner...there's not a camera she won't act up in front of.

Well a Korean with a Korean company sponsor is too routine to be memorable...Bada$$ is far down my radar screen anyway. But, the nap is a good idea...I'll do that now at 9:50 PM, then get up at 11 PM for the KLPGA, then turn on the LPGA also at Midnight, then take a nap at 1 AM, then get up at 4AM for JLPGA. UPDATE: The streaming wasn't working at 11 PM, so I resumed my nap and got up at 3 AM to catch the last hour of the LPGA. At 4 AM, the streaming was working so I checked out the JLPGA. As for Fubon, all Ryu can do is look at it.

I didn't want to post anything about So Yeon. I was hoping not to jinx her. I guess it's a mute point now. Looks like Lydia, unless she do something crazy. She has this one won.
I have come to the conclusion, that So Yeon needs to improve her putting to start wining. She don't have the ability to over power courses, like a Lexi Thompson. Her putting also make her go after tough flags to try to get short birdie putts. Maybe just one and a half putts a round improvement. Otherwise she may just keep piling up top tens. With a win every once in a while. That's really isn't all bad.

Yeah, Ko has this one in the bag. No way is she going to lose here. I'm still hoping So Yeon has a great round in her, and that she's about to unleash it. She hasn't played badly this week, just not up to her top standard. And the missing ingredient is definitely her putting. She is still a better putter than many out there, and I know she can get hot and drain putts like crazy, so I do think a low round is possible But if she wants to get more than the odd win now and again, she has to lower that putting average well below 30. Interesting that this week, Inbee was the defending champ, but decided to play on the KLPGA; and Hyo Joo was the defending champ on the KLPGA, but decided to play on the LPGA instead. Didn't really pay for Hyo Joo, but it might work out for Inbee. For a moment, it looked like Amy was on a roll, but that double bogey on 9 really derailed her. So Yeon had a great chance for a birdie there, but missed; she would have gained about two shots on the field if she had made it! Best of luck also to Eun Hee Ji. Hopefully she or Ryu can at least prevent a blowout. Go Sisters!!! Hwaiting!

Yani been struggling mentally and the pressure in Taiwan for her to perform this week will be too great for her. Yani broke down in tears to the press after her round yesterday. Poor girl. Hopefully this will not undo all the progress she has made recently.

The color commentator on the golf channel broadcast has been breathlessly describing Charley Hull's game all weekend.

As Lydia was steamrolling the field, I was rolling my eyes at the announcers always qualifying her chances for victory.
Impressive stuff for Ko! I agree with Happy Fan that she will take it to the house for the rest of the season.

Ya....they certainly were drooling over Hull...and how about Peter and Whan yapping about The Canadian Princess who is not even playing in the event. I think all the Asians should dye their hair blonde.

Normally a pro with such a large lead plays conservative to ensure a win. I guess Lydia really wanted to stick it to Inbee while she's hiding playing a 'fake' major to demonstrate to the world who the REAL #1 is. Since a 'fake' Korean won...I guess we won't see any pics from Happy....so here we go.

Congratulation to Lydia for a great win and awesome tournament. Lydia was born in Korea, has Korean parents, if anything she is a fake New Zealander. (Kidding).
Good to see So Yeon get a second place finish, along with Eun He Ji. Also great that So Yeon followed both bogies, on the back nine with a birdie.
Kudos to the other top ten finishers.
Is it my imagination that a lot of people aren't happy with Inbee as number one. I like Lydia, but there is sure a lot more fanfare, when she become number one.
As opposed to Inbee.
