FYI - Rounds 2 thru 4 will be carried live by GC, but Round 1 will be delayed twelve hours. However, JTBC Golf will carry Round 1 live at 1 PM Korea time.

It's the same site we use to watch the KLPGA, but hit the J Golf button instead. But, I'm watching KLPGA later...Sharon is tied for first at -3 after playing the back nine.
As usual, the Rocket's gyro has her criss-crossing the atmosphere...she opened birdie, eagle, bogey, par...tied for first, but for how long?

The streaming is working fine, except that the website compresses this channel slightly on the left and right...the ball looks like an egg. The SBS Golf channel is shown with the proper aspect ratio. Go to the usual site: www.korealive.tk/Click 64MA Live TV on the top bar. X-out those two screens and click the 8th group of channels from the top. Then hit the one that says J Golf (it's far below SBS Golf) Nice looking golf course...the greens look green, but some are splotchy. Yani has a good-sized group following her...other than that, the spectators are hanging out by the tees and greens only...lots of ropes and nobody behind them. Yani rammed home a birdie putt on #8. Then on #9 she bashed her drive way right, dropped the club, bent over in anguish, and folded her arms, waiting for the ball to land in the water. Her third was a safety shot way over the flag, followed by a three-putt from downtown. The broadcast has a weird feel to it...it's quiet, it's breezy, and it's overcast...maybe rain is coming.

Eun Hee Ji (66, -6) just did an interview in English...I guess we can forgive her now for the interpreter at the 2009 USWO. It's 2:02 AM, I'm going to bed...I'll let someone else report the next two hours!

www.lpga.com/news/2015-round-one-quick-recap-fubon-lpga-taiwan-championshipHere's the heading of the article in the link above: Two-Time Major Champion Eun-Hee Ji Leads Fubon LPGA Taiwan ChampionshipOh really? They're including her 2008 win at Wegman's...excuse me, that was NOT a major...she played McDonald's two weeks before, which WAS a major. The LPGA can't even keep track of all their fake majors.

The play by play guy last week ( Peter Donegan ?) also refers her as two time major winner. I guess it is in the computer database.

The LPGA doesn't know who Eun-Hee Ji is. The most exciting USWO finish that no one watched/cared.

BTW, I always wonder if they indeed had "Birdie Kim" engraved on the trophy?
Edit: According to the greatest golf announcer of our time, Tom Abbott, So Yeon and I both resides in the same city here in SoCal. I will make sure to ask her next time I stalk bump into her in the neighborhood.

www.lpga.com/news/2015-round-one-quick-recap-fubon-lpga-taiwan-championshipThe LPGA has corrected the article above in the Title and Body, which now says Eun Hee Ji has one Major. Looks like Yani didn't forfeit her 2008 McDonald's LPGA Championship trophy after all. The only issue left is that when I click on the article, the browser tab at the top of my PC screen starts with "Two-Time Major Champion Eun-Hee Ji..." I assumed this limited-field event had no cut, but there is one, top-70 + ties. Ha Na Jang dropped out and was replaced by Alison Walshe, who shot 79.

That appears to have been a mistake. The cut line has been removed from the leaderboard.
