Tony I thought the final rd on Sunday was a snoozefest cause no one really took on Lexi.....I was hoping for an exchange of the lead many times on the back 9 that never came to fruition.
GC is showing rd 1 at 12pm not 12am....GC is showing a repeat of the ReMax LD

Shame on Inbee not to defend
Queen Bee says on her Twitter that this event has been moved and she already has major sponsor obligation set up by the time.
I am surprised that Queen Bee would even play this event at all, given that she was booed mercilessly couple years back when Yani was at the height of her power. I guess just like Yani's game, the "passion" of the Taiwanese crowd has since subsided considerably.
fourwaymiss Yani's game is red hot! I finally got to see the final round of the Hana. Yani threw the win away taking 4 to get down from the green close to the pin on a par 4. She rose 18 world ranking places to I think 37th. She's headed back to the top 20 soon, at least. But of course I agree with you, it's not Yani mania anymore (except for me).

I don't think the date of Fubon was ever moved?
I also don't recall Inbee being boo'd in Taiwan neither.....what are you smoking Tom?
Yani been struggling mentally and the pressure in Taiwan for her to perform this week will be too great for her.

The smiling Buddha would have to have gone to Chinese/Taiwanese media for the story.
It shouldn't come in as a surprise, it was a wild wild west out there, especially when a local favourite is in contention. It was similar deal with my future wife Stacy and Shanshan in China, only more intense.
Yani said she had to apologize to Inbee couple times throughout the round. And Queen said she was "a little hurt" afterwards but it was a "special experience". Hail to the Queen.
Interesting thing is the Tutta was also in the group and was in contention ( and eventually won, as I recall) and she didn't receive the same treatment from the galleries. Either they know she and Yani are good friends, or there was some kind of Taiwanese Korea rivalry thing going on.
I do know that Na Yeon Choi is a big fan favorite in Taiwan, perhaps second only to Ya Ni herself. Each year she has a huge fan club meeting in Korea (a couple of years ago she arrived on stage dressed as a bunny!). One year she invited several hundred members of her Taiwan fan club to come; IIRC, she (or her sponsors more likely) paid for airfare and hotel and everything for them!

NYC has a nickname in Taiwan which loosely translates to "Korean little cutie".
I always wonder if Queen Bee plays golf with a chip on her shoulder because of all this. I know they are good friends on personal level. But inside the ropes maybe it fuels Inbee in the inside to kick all their asses. ( Something which may not be bad for SYR to learn )
I vividly remember Jiayi Shin was once asked what she wants to learn from another Korean golfer the most. She half jokingly answered, NYC's good look.
This weekend I visited the local Japanese bookstore and leafed through a couple of Japanese golf magazines. Not surprisingly, Korean superstar Bo Mee Lee was prominently featured in both. But the Sister who got the second most page space was Jiyai Shin! There was a long article about the car she drives (no kidding; four pages!). also a lengthy golf lesson (not just swing, but short game, putting, clubs she uses, the works), and another article about some tournament she had won. Lots of pics of her giving thumbs up, big smiles, the typical cutesy stuff.
Shin seems to be pretty popular in Japan if you can go by page count!
Edit: I forgot the article about Shin visiting a golf resort. Maybe she had even more pages than Bo Mee, come to think of it!

The Chinese are known to be pushy, loud and rude.....oh wait....The Smiling Buddha is one of them...yikes. Go venture to any Chinatown or Chinese restaurant to witness the behaviors.

Some of her Taiwanese fans:
Hmmmm....looks like The Smiling Buddha is gonna have to fanboy NYC to get a free trip to S. Korea.
