I can't find anything on why C. Kerr dropped out. I assume Old Mike is carrying a calculator this week...so the areas behind the greens aren't turned into hard hat zones. From lpga.com: It’s safe to say Mi Hyang Lee knows this golf course - Sky 72 Golf Club’s Ocean Course - a little better than the rest of the field. Sky 72 has been Lee’s home course since it opened when she was 13 and she still has a home 10 minutes down the road where she spends the offseason.
But that hasn’t always translated into solid results at this course. In two previous starts here, she’s finished 76th and 66th.
“Just I know the golf course well, but it didn’t work. Just it didn’t work,” Lee said. “And then I did feel a lot of pressure for sure.”
That’s changing this week though. Lee fired a 5-under-par 67 Friday and is currently in a tie for 7th at 6-under-par. Lee says one change she made this week is she’s not staying at home. She wants it to feel like a normal tournament so instead of staying at home and driving the 10 minutes to the course, she’s at the hotel with the rest of the players.
“When I stay at my home, I feel like it’s not a tournament,” Lee said.*********** mr3putt, you are right about Gerina bashing the RBZ driver...from Round One. But, the M1s are slowly dribbling out to the ladies...Jenny Shin and Mirim Lee have them now. The last time I played was last month, a freebie at Knob Hill GC. I was grouped with two other guys and one of them was a smallish-sized old timer using an RBZ driver with the green trim, and he was frickin' long and a superb ball striker. Those two guys played from the tips, while I hit from the whites...had a 42 on the front nine (marred by an 8 on a par-4), but I got destroyed on the back nine...and I won't say any more! Ebay has a bunch of RBZ driver for only $75 plus shipping...great price...just wish I could buy that old-timer's swing instead.

The Smiling Buddha got up the courage to chat with The Dragon Lady at the CP CWO. How did that conversation go? The Smiling Buddha was trembling like Mumbles from Dick Tracy....but did chat with Tina for a minute. A caddie at the 2013 Safeway Classic told The Smiling Buddha that Tina was not all cookies and cream....and it's been demonstrated with Guy Wilson's termination and 9 pink slips to caddies in 2014. Jason Hamilton continues to walk on egg shells. Tina is also a 'fake' Korean mom too....all the Korean moms are well coiffed with jet black hair.....The Dragon Lady not so much...it must have been stressful hiding all the money Lydia obtained while an Am

Phil Mike's too old to understand metric...let alone that Koreans think in metric and he likely didn't take into account that Evian is anywhere from 1200 -2400 ft. So when he says 150....MHL grabs a 6 iron instead of a 7 iron...and she air mails it RBZ long at 177 yards into the galleries or hazards....duh.
Get a JetSpeed...I've seen them as low as $60 US shipped in Merica.

I had forgotten that So Yeon and In Gee played together Friday.
Anyway, the below page has some fun pix of the two of them together. I've always thought that they were very similar in personality, so it's pretty cool seeing them together in a tournament! (It would be better if they were near the top of the leaderboard, but can't have everything! )

If Dumbo doesn't secure a Disney endorsement in 2016...she needs a new agent.
But knowing how much the Mericans hate the Koreans....likely In Gee will be forced to remove Dumbo from her bag based on copyright/patent infringements.

Considering MJ Hur is not playing...I'm pretty sure Craig Castrale is on HJK's bag...where and who is HJK's regular loop? It's a shame MJ ( a Hana gal) was not given an invite...but Mick Jagger was....go figure.

I recall seeing on Twitter that Kerr pulled out to rest her back and jokingly complained about getting old. She'll next stalk the fairways in Mexico.
IMG did keep the cameras rolling for the remainder of round two but only for JTBC Golf, it seems.

In Gee and So Yeon pairing worked well for So Yeon. She had her lowest round(66) in a while. She has gone from five over in the middle of round two. To be standing at four under now.
No surprise that In Gee came back to near top ten. She is just so determined.

It was great to see In Gee and So Yeon Ryu rally on Saturday. Ryu isn't going to win, but shot a 66 to move to 4 under and a tie for 26th.
Meanwhile, In Gee played well enough to actually get onto the coverage. At 7 under, she has a tall order in front of her, but hopefully she can go low tomorrow and get more TV time (my favorite moment of the broadcast came after her round ended. She went over to Jaye Marie Green, who put her arm around Dumbo. It seems like In Gee made a friend today!).
As for the top players, all kudos to Mirim and Sung Hyun Park for hanging tough and producing great rounds, both 67s. I stand by my prediction that Lydia Ko is still going to win, but I hope Mirim and Park make it interesting in the final group with her. At the very least, Ko will have to play first into the green on most holes in that group!
(it would be nifty if Mirim could pull this off: in her two previous wins, she beat Inbee in a playoff and outlasted Stacy Lewis in a head-to-head battle. Adding Ko to that list would be quite a trifecta!).
Ko is taunting us by actually making mistakes, especially when she hit it in the water on that one hole. But she is still in the lead and still shot a 69, so she's still got this one in the bag.
I'm bummed about Han Sol Ji's 2 stroke penalty. Does anyone know what happened there? She's still in good position for a top ten if she can rally. And kudos to Yoon Ji Cho on a great week so far. She played quite nicely in the final group today.

Jason Hamilton got an earful from The Dragon Lady last night.
Happy Are you using reverse karma on the 'fake' Korean?....the only one who has mastered it is fanofseri....I wonder where he is?
Lydia let everyone back into the tournament. Ko is good...but IMO....she's too one dimensional when she chips. I guess the only thing Lead Poisoning is interesting in teaching is the A Swing to promote his book.
I have no clue who will win....there are easily 5-6 pros who will find a hot putter and claim the trophy. I like how Lexi is playing aggressive...but she has and never will have any feeling with her flat stick.
The Smiling Buddha predicts the winner will shoot 67 and there will be a playoff.....but TSB has been off this week.
Jaye Marie is one of the friendliest pros to her peers on tour...she's a chatty Cathy with ALL her playing partners and Donnie is hilarious too. Obviously JMG has never attended Crusty's School of Charm.
Not great galleries on Saturday neither....I guess all the Koreans spent all their wons at the Prez Cup merchandise tent....it's only a rumor and fallacy how popular women's golf is in S. Korea....or maybe the fans are staying home because they are upset Stacy Lewis is not playing.

I'm glad Lexi won and obviously I'm surprised she did so since I left her off my Pakpicker.
Sung Hyun Park is building her pipeline to the LPGA. She hung in there pretty nicely including the birdie on the last to get into a tied for second with an apparently resurgent Yani Tseng. I'm going to be unimaginative and pick Yani to win next week.
I was sweating Suzann was going to win this, disappointed that Mirim Lee fell back and taken aback by Lydia's struggles.
All right, I write about these players because they are the ones shown for the vast majority of the broadcast. All of them weren't exactly dropping putts on that back nine. So how in the world did Amy Yang do it on all nine? And how in the world were we only able to see her birdie on 18?
Another quirk of the broadcast was those birds chirping in the background whenever they showed a graphic. Peculiar.
