mr3putt: The website we use to watch SBS Golf also has a link called J Golf (within the same channel grouping), which also carrying the KEB HBC. ********** I wonder if the equipment tour reps in U.S. follow the LPGA when they go to Asia, or does each brand have their own local guy at each stop? Danielle Kang needs to send an S.O.S. to the Mr. TaylorMade I see at the Seaview. Using the M1, she shot 77! Aren't you supposed to pick up an additional 17 yards with this sucker?! Oh wait...it was the RocketBallz driver that got you the extra 17...never mind. D.K. is good to watch in person...nice looks and athletic swing...and how many players can say they got banned from the NCAA championships for being "academically ineligible?" (she later admitted that she went to Pepperdine U. only to play golf)

They've already started the 2nd round, so why does the LPGA website not have a single photo from the 1st round? Grrrr.

Han Sol Ji? Surely there is someone in Korea named Han Sol Oh. Would be an interesting golfer; always shoots first.

I guess Sung Hyun Park was accurate in the first round! I did not say that she would not be. I just indicated that they were all long drivers of the ball. And I just meant that I was really impressed with her play.

Alas, In Gee and So Yeon, the two players I was most rooting for, both stumbled a bit out of the gate. In Gee apparently shot a 76 in round 1 last year and still rallied and nearly won, so she at least did better than that this opening round! Go Sisters! I'm pretty sure So Yeon Ryu's not so good first round was due to those over-the-knee socks she wore! She usually looks so stylish on the golf course. Nice to see the two friends enjoying their walk on the golf course.

kebhanabankgolf.comIf you go to the tournament website (above), you'll see a JTBC Golf logo over an old-fashioned TV...click it and you'll get a live feed (Jeong Jang is there and I'm currently watching a replay of Round 2). Their live coverage of rounds 3 & 4 will start 30 minutes before Golf Channel.

'Probably wouldn't want to see them on her every round, but I like when they ladies mix it up now and again.

Ko vs Lexi rematch from Evian? I'm surprised Lexi is up for that again! I suppose if Lexi can drag Merican golf fans to the TV it's good for the game in the States. Does anyone hit more crazy punch shots w/ irons than Lyds? It's like she's reached a level where it's more important what the ball does after it lands on the green than how it gets there. She's playing the contours of the green from 160 yards. She's through the looking glass!

Is there anyone here who thinks Ko is not going to win this thing? It's a rock solid guarantee from what I can see. I will make another bold prediction: Ko is going to win all the post season awards. Inbee is really the only person who can stop her, but I don't think she has it in her right now. Her biggest life goal was to complete the career Grand Slam, and naturally, having done that, she is less motivated than usual. If Ko were playing ordinary golf, Inbee probably would still be able to walk off with the awards without being entirely engaged. But Ko is playing the best golf of her life right now, and I just don't think Inbee has the energy to mount a serious challenge against that. I do think Inbee might be able to sneak a win out, perhaps at the CME, but I'm not seeing a sustained effort. As has happened over and over since the British, we have another leaderboard with few top Sisters in good position. I suppose Hyo Joo could still rally from 5 back. Mirim Lee is playing well, but she is coming off a long injury break, so it would be a minor miracle for her to pull this off. One positive was that In Gee had a 68 to move from 55th to 25th. I hope she can put together a great round tomorrow and at least throw her hat in the ring. I would love to see her at least challenge for the trophy. Well, whatever happens, it's been a great year. Here's hoping there will be a few more highlights. Go Sisters! Inbee Park Sung Hyun Park Na Yeon Choi Hyo Joo Kim Chella Choi Ha Na Jang Mi Hyang Lee IK Kim Jenny Shin So Yeon Ryu Alison Lee Seon Woo Bae

mr3putt: Oh wait...it was the RocketBallz driver that got you the extra 17...never mind. Phil It's the Rocketballz 3W that claimed 17 more yards and then the Stage 2 3W that claimed 17 +10. I have the Stage 2 3W HL.....if I complete a pure swing on the sweet spot every 1 or 2 out of 10 shots.....I've seen some crazy shots go 15-20 yards more than what I expect and have had 25 more yds on the rare exception. I cut down the club 5/8"...but can't say it was a great move. Did you notice Gerina is still playing a Rocketballz driver?

Club 56 is in play.....most of the truly great LPGA pros past and present have been about 5'6".....over the long run......it's wise to bet on Club 56 vs. a taller gal in a 1:1 match up. It was Guy Wilson who taught Ko the finesse strategy to manage her game. The Dragon Lady then dropped Wilson like a sack of rocks to venture to Lead Poisoning....likely influenced by BJ who received a finders fee. I hope the flight director of any Korean Airlines flight trains their staff well NEVER to serve the Dragon Lady anything in a bag or suffer the consequences. After 6 days....The Smiling Buddha got up the courage to chat with The Dragon Lady at the CP CWO.

I certainly gagged on my prediction that SHP would shoot a 68 or 69...then again ........Gerina & Hull also shot 74's too. It was nice to see 3 bombers play....and the coverage for rd 2 was superior to rd 1...kinda upset they wouldn't show the rd to completion vs. showing the 2nd replay of the Fry's....ugh.
I think IMG is producing the coverage....I think their resources are limited....we generally only saw a limited amt of groups play.
Until Charley changes her course management approach...IMO...she's going to struggle to win a LPGA event. Her dad certainly doesn't interfere....he doesn't even do a post rd analysis with Charley...he feels Charley's got to learn on her own.
I was shocked Charley was smiling from the 4 jack...I know I'd want to helicopter my putter.
I don't understand the Koreans.....the women's game is supposedly so popular in Korea, yet there were empty stands on 18 when we saw Lee Ann Pace drain her shot. Lee Ann has a really friendly disposition.

Phil I guess MHL is luvin old Mike's return...a 67.
Chella's gotta give up on relying on Daddy Caddy.....I'm surprised she didn't get along with Jesus Mozo.
Does anyone think Dumbo will talk Dean into looping for her in 2016?
