It's weird. There are about ten - twelve golfers who are going crazy, and the rest are around even par. Liu, who just shot the round of her career yesterday, birdied her first SEVEN holes today. Six had a seven under streak including an eagle. Hye Jin is 5 under. Hae Ran had almost as good a start, 6 under in her first 8 holes. Jin Young has two eagles already. Has she ever had a round where she got two eagles? Really wild. Hwaiting!

Man, Jin Young has got the lefts again, just like she had at Sahalee. She keeps putting her drives into the bad stuff on the left. She's gotten away with it so far; on the par 5 7th she had to lay up but still made birdie. On 9 she was in the mid length stuff but hit a fantastic approach that rolled just off the back of the green. But on ten it looks like she's in trouble.
Hae Ran is hanging in there, one back. But so is Corpuz. No offense, but if Corpuz wins this I'm going to be inconsolable.
By the way, I saw Liu a bit at Portland and she struck me as having an absolutely terrible swing. I can't figure out how she is so under par right now.
Let's go, Jin Young and Hae Ran!!!!!

At least Yealimi is getting a lot of air time (in the background of Ryu and Liu making birdies)
That 18th hole is very volatile, I think it may be decided then.

Great bogey save on 10 by Jin Young. Now she had better figure out how to hit a straight drive...

The reason Liu is under par is because she's making every putt she looks at. It's crazy.
Another good par save from Jin Young on 11. Hae Ran now in the lead, which is pretty astonishing.

Hopefully Ryu or Ko wins. I'll be happy w Allisen too (she is half Korean) doubt AP sticks around to congratulate her in the event, she must be half way to Dallas by now!

Agggh, a weather delay! Now I'm not sure if it will be recorded for me even if they resume today.
I sure hope they can finish it. Of course, if they have to throw out the round (which would be a pity, it's been really interesting), Jin Young would be declared the winner, right?

It's playoff time! I might give the edge here to HaeRan.
Yealimi made a double on 18?! Yikes

After all the ups and downs of the weekend, it's Jin Young "the new" Ko vs Haeran "the new" Ryu. We couldn't have asked for anything better... and even Six put on a strong finish in the final round.

Yealimi made a double on 18?! Yikes It doesn't matter; she only got 11.667 less CME points.

Congratulations to Haeran Ryu on her 2nd career LPGA win! No one else will ever be able to say that they won the inaugural FM Championship...

Congratulations to Haeran Ryu on her 2nd career LPGA win! No one else will ever be able to say that they won the inaugural FM Championship... True! But, many can say they chose not to play!

I would have guessed when Ryu came on the scene in 2016 she'd have at least 10 wins by 2024. She got bad advice wasting her time playing in Korea but she still has the chance to redeem herself before she retires.

It doesn't mean that they would have won if they chose to play. What's the reason to pour cold water on Hae Ran win, very disrespectful.
