Weather is looking grim today. Lots of rain to go with the wind. Whoever wins will have beaten their fellow competitors and the elements

You sure about that?
It's a stroll in the park for Momoko Osato starting at the 1st tee in the first tee time ... takes aim ...
... fires ...
... puts the jacket on ...
... shadows mean sunlight ... that's Inky walking ahead, who would look more recognizable wearing a sweat-stained pink Hanwha cap ...
... jacket off again ... in this case, she made her birdie putt at #1 ...
... puts the jacket back on ... and now she is -4 on her first ten holes. There are no horrible scores among the early starters.

Did you hear? Inky announced her retirement after she finished her round. I'm really glad I saw her at the USWO qualifier last March.

Morgan Pressel just credited Jiyai Shin with doing a Beyonce dance after winning in Singapore. Fact check: Ha Na Jang did that, not Jiyai Shin. Morgan Pressel being bad at her job is not a matter of opinion. Because just filling up airtime is a massive struggle for her. But not everyone can hear it evidently. I find that outrageous but what can you do.
How can a broadcaster hope to provide interesting commentary when they massively struggle just to complete a sentence. She is flying blind; most sentences she just starts them without a clear idea of how they are going to finish. Simply put the most incompetent broadcaster I have ever heard in almost fifty years of watching TV sports. A total farce. I will watch the rest of today but I cannot keep this up much longer.

I'm not watching the broadcast. One would assume that Pretzel could come up with at least one interesting story re The Shinster from the old days since their careers overlapped for about six years.
********
Unless she gags at the end, it appears that Lotte World will embarrass England's Hull & Hall duopoly. The youngster has two more years available at Florida St., don't know what her intentions are.

Finished my 21km coastal walk turn on the coverage to see Nelly bogey 17 and Lydia birdie 18. Has Ko K’Od Korda?

Lydia is a Seoul Sister. Says so on her birth certificate. And in the present day, she is a member of the Korean oligarchy. What more could you people ask for.

https://www.instagram.com/p/C_GmvuiR9am Congratulations to Lydia Ko for second big win, her first as a Hall of Famer is great. Great Tournament by Jiyai Shin for her second-place tie. It was always going to be tough for her because she doesn't play too many four rounders on JLPGA. Great to see her make the clutch birdie to tie for second place. Jin Hee Im did get a top ten, but I think she three putted a short birdie putt on eighteen. That caused her to be tied with seven others at tenth place instead of being tied for three others for seventh place. I see golfers do this too many times when they have a lead late in the Final Round. Nelly Korda had a two-stroke lead standing in the Fairway at par five fourteen. Instead of taking the big number out of it by laying up with an iron. She played the macho bit by hitting a wood that probably caused her the win. Even laying up, with her wedge game she could have made birdie anyway. However, it gave Jiyai Shin a better chance to win so I liked that

Ko’s grand opening and grand closing to her career must be among the all time greats. It’s like the golfing spirit that inhabited Seve decided to spend a career with Lydia. Does it go back to Young Tom or further? Magic.

Lottie Woad is -3 after nine holes; she shot -3 for her front nine. She maybe able to break that monopoly! Yealimi needs a Christmas miracle to make the cut! Maybe the wind will slow down soon. Annie's current year #153 CME Ranking has been powerful; it enables her to play all the upcoming North American events. Hopefully she'll play well. She's 43.750 CME points; historically she needs 240 - 260 points to be safely inside Top - 100. She can do it given her god-given talent!
