The LET website shows 21 vacancies within a field of 144. Those spots will be filled by the final qualifier on Mon., Aug. 19 at the uniquely-named Crail Golfing Society, which I never heard of before. As of now, the AIGWO website has no field posted yet for Aug. 19.

Still nothing on Monday's qualifier field. However, two spots were just filled by Ai Suzuki and Coconut Sakurai based upon their Rolex rankings. No KLPGAers in the field ... if France conquered the UK, then they'd be interested.

Amy and her caddie have been playing Crail Golf Society. Looks a nice course beside the sea - when the sun is out!

Three more JLPGAers are coming: Haruka Kawasaki, Shuri Sakuma and Yui. That leaves 16 spots to fill.

I still count 16 vacancies to fill ... the "names" among the qualifiers: Baba-chan, Yuban, Meadow, Maclaren, Jiwon Jeon, X. Yin, Boonchant, Hartlage, Masson, Annabell Fuller, Yan Liu, Kim Metraux, Gillman, DK, Kinhult, Krauter, WW Zhang, Saana Nuttinen, Jodi ES, Bianca, Luna SG, Papp Budde, Fassi, Hannah Darling (a), Hedwall, Haeji Kang, LA Pace, Roussin, Grewal, Babnik, Garcia, Inglis, Hsu, Herbin and VE Carta.
Erika Hara could not elbow her way in to this one, so she is on her way to Hanwha.

LC won't be the betting favorite, but she should. Probably her or Furue wins.
And of course Ina Yoon as top sister, I don't think she's ever played in Scotland before - St Andrews is not too challenging (if there is no wind). Maybe she can drive the green on 18.

Isn't Ina playing the KLPGA Major this week? She certainly qualifies to play the British by her world ranking, but I haven't heard that she's going to do that.

JYK said she's just grateful for whatever she has. She's a woman of the people.

You are correct - I did see her name on the exempt list (top 2 KLPGA money list) but she is not playing via the official entities listed here. www.aigwomensopen.com/playersWhat a disappointment 😠Top sister I am now going with Jiyai 💪

The qualfiier LIVE scoring is also at the above link. I count 92 names and only 14 haven't started yet. My best guess about the cut is that you better finish under par ... which means Baba-chan (75, +3) is toast ... and DK (+2 thru 12) is not looking good. Waitwait Zhang is in front at -5 thru 9 holes.

Per the LET website, it appears that the top-3 players from ISPS/Scotland not already in the AIGWO field were added last night or today (Inglis, Humphreys, H. Kang). Also, I definitely saw Yuban's name on the qualifier list, but now she in the field within a category called 'Top 50 players Rolex Rankings' ... they must be using weird math because Yuban is #94 on Rolex today. In the end, only 12 players passed the qualifier.
WW Zhang topped the qualifier at -5.
**********
Now, let's see who working The Main Room ...
Shibuko and her close buddy Momoko Osato (w/ AIGWO-theme Bridgestone bag)
I just realized that Nuria had a top-10 last week, which pushed her up 47 places to #174 on Rolex. She's also in The Archives from the 2021 USWO qualifier at Spring Lake GC:
With no caddy and carrying not a stand bag, but a Sunday bag, the diminutive Iturrioz did not look the part of a three-time winner on the Ladies European Tour. If it weren’t for the obscure Euro logos on her windshirt, she could have passed for a sad sack junior looking for her group lesson at The First Tee program.
She was into Wilson irons back in 2021, but has ditched that brand completely by 2024.
I think Minjee went the 13-club route with Callaway at the beginning of the year ... now backtracking with a Cleveland RTX wedge.

I reckon Leona likes sausage rolls as well.

I missed one no pairing, Jenny Shin (CME 33) is paired with 196 and 122. No matter who you are paired with, you still need to play your game. It's just a matter of respect for your position on the Tour.
Jin Young Ko hardly ever get the respect that she deserves. She has played at a high level ever since she joined the Tour. Just saying!!!!!
