Wow! The broadcast just showed Hae Ran and Amy, back to back... and Amy was wearing 'the hat!' Hae Ran minus-5 with six birdies on her first nine today.

Nelly has been consistent over the first 4 holes. Bogey, bogey, bogey, bogey And the flip side of "they won't show a Sister unless she is minus-5 or better..."
They won't STOP showing Nelly even though she's plus+8 on the day! Just when it seems like it couldn't get any worse, Nelly awaits an out-of-bounds ruling at 15... not a positive sign... even Abbott just admitted "she is now in serious danger of missing the cut..." Yup, a double on 15... now plus+10 on the day, plus+7 for the tournament... missing the cut line by two strokes. And you know they will stick a microphone in her face after her round is over...
Rose Zhang can breathe a sigh of relief. They would be showing her every move if the Nelly disaster was not so compelling... actually Rose is even on the day at this point and Nelly has passed accelerated past Rose in the wrong direction... The wild thing is that both may make the cut if they don't blunder any further. My prediction of plus+3 cut yesterday was quite an underestimate.

I don't see any news updates on Mone Inami's stolen driver head ... starting on the back nine Friday, she shot 47 and quit.  The driver issue is a plausible excuse ... although she made a 7 on the par-3 17th hole.
This is embarrassing ... HF and I shower Six with praise on her performance here and at the USWO ... and then she lays an ostrich egg.   |

This is embarrassing ... HF and I shower Six with praise on her performance here and at the USWO ... and then she lays an ostrich egg. Watching Mone's scores post, I wondered if she was driving the ball with a bare shaft!
I have nothing to add regarding Six, other than my usual, "There's my Lee6!"
Ok, I can add one more comment that I read earlier this year from another member, "Malbon is the kiss of death!" Jeongeun Lee6, I support you so much. DO SOMETHING!

I have to admit Nelly's self immolation kept me glued to the screen. Funny what can happen once you start believing your own GIC press clippings. I wouldn't say I was hate-watching, since it's difficult to have any strong emotions either way toward such a plain vanilla personality like Nelly. And once she processes the past 3 weeks, it should only make her stronger. But I had to think the karma was due. And that iPhone commercial with the two Nellys is revolting, especially after multiple views. |

Of all the golfers I was hoping would have a great Tournament Jeong Eun Lee6 really struggled today.
I really thought that she was getting closer to competing again.
You can never figure out this game of golf.
Take Nelly Korda, she hit nine greens first round and scored three under.
Hit eight greens today and scored nine over, totally weird this game.
Putting played a big part in the difference, twenty-five putts first round, thirty-three second round.
Jeong Eun Lee6 difference was driving 245 yesterday, 222 today.
Also hit ten greens yesterday and five greens today is the difference.
Ok! Good news Jin Young Ko minus four moved her up to two out of the lead.
Hae Ran Ryu minus five today move her up from fifty fourth place to tie for six.
Other bad news Hyo Joo Kim birdied her first hole and had five bogeys no birdies after that.
Jin Hee Im missing the cut will cause her in the ROY race,
She is playing the KLPGA next week, maybe to visit her Coach,
Amy Yang minus five through fifteen has a chance for the lead.
Not sure how it works but maybe plus six has an outside chance to make the cut.

More bad news, Yealimi almost threw away her tournament on the final holes but made par on the last to stay on the cut line. Also this driving data on the lpga leaderboard is stupid, how can it be 236 one day and 264 the next. These average driving distances for the season are nerfed big time. If the Simone Cup can track data on each hole, why can't the LPGA do this yet? 🤡 show
