Congratulations future Olympian! A little shout out to Ashleigh Buhai, of all people. I saw her get a sand save on Friday and she was absolutely gimping. I thought she would withdraw for sure before Saturday's round. But she shot 75-75. Not too shabby on this course on one leg. $30k was worth the pain and suffering. Ash Buhai is great! She spent over a decade on the tour without a lot of success but never gave up and finally found redemption in the AIG in 2022 and the Shoprite in 2023. She's also a future Olympian, along with her countrywoman Paula Reto. Obviously, the competition for Olympic slots in RSA is not the same as it is in USA or ROK or Japan... but Ashleigh will be there! Not to mention her husband is on the bag for your favorite golfer. |
