MHL opened with four pars on Sunday ... grouped with Voodoo (first time?) and Salas.

The AP photographer showed up Thursday, then apparently lost interest after that.
Did she spot mr3putt?

Fascinating how the last two LPGA winners were kicked to the curb by this golf course:

Woo-hoo, MHL has the best Sunday round so far, 3-under after nine holes, 5-under overall. She'll probably be off the air when the broadcast starts ... at least until the playoff.
I thought they were in SoCal ... global warming, my azz.

The Pakster is now in the TV booth.
MHL lost her bearings at the end, but still shot under par today and for the week. Came in here at #16 on CME ... needs a big finish in AZ next week to reach the top-10 and avoid USWO qualifying.
Jin Hee Im on Sunday ... did not wear a mask earlier in week ... I guess she wants to block the crap blowing into her face from wind gusts ... naturally, the mask has a logo.

Nelly takes 7 weeks off and looks like she's going to win. Mind you it's a blowing a gale. More like Scotland than Southern California

In Gee doing well on the last day to shoot 70. If only day 3 had been better! Another of my faves Jenny Shin was on -8 before bogeying the final 3 holes. She's another when the going gets tough she seems to lose it a little.

I thought that I heard (the real) Haney whispering, "I'm picking Shin this week; there's two of them..." Must have been my imagination...

The whole world is pulling for you, Ryann! (Except for Jessica and Sebastian and Petr and the rest of the family...)

It's possible that Georgia was sticking pins in her Ryann doll.

Well, the par five Queen won again, I guess it's still a win no matter how you do it.
It was always going to be tough for Ji Yai Shin having to hit so many hybrids into the wind. Her short game wasn't quite as good as usual. Still a top five is a really good tournament.
Great that Gabriela Ruffels got two late birdies to finish under par and a tie for third place.
Alison Lee had a shaky start to the back nine with bogeys on three of first six holes. However, had two late birdies to get a third-place tie, she is getting closer.

I think Boone referred to the top-10 rule on the broadcast ... if you get a top-10, you can automatically play the next event ... I thought the LPGA dropped that rule ... no? It doesn't matter for The Shinster, she's playing Yamaha this week.

Well, that sucked.
It would have been really nice to see a Korean, especially a Se Ri Kid, get the win here. Think about how amazing this story could have been: a player inspired to become a superstar by Se Ri plays her first non-Major in the States in a decade to honor her idol and wins. This would no doubt have been the largest gap between wins for any Korean in history: Shin's last LPGA victory came in early 2013, 11 years ago! I wonder what the all-time LPGA record is for longest time between wins?
This was the kind of course and conditions that should be catnip for them and they still lost to a long hitter. At least Shin played decently; most of the Sisters were terrible. Well, I'm ready to throw out the next few weeks and hope that in a month or so things will improve. Always hwaiting!

Nelly in her post round victory media interviews said it was the first time she'd met and spoken to Se Ri. Seems a little suprising. Has Se Ri not attended any LPGA events in the last 6-7 years? I'm sure they would've met before now
