Willis Reed must be turning in his grave.

Yeah, Hall's leg isn't feeling so good, so she's taking a week off, but fully expects to be back in action the following week. I feel like if she skips this but isn't really that hurt, she should be forced to miss the next Solheim to reinforce that you don't just bail on this event cause you have an ouchie. Willis Reed indeed!

The Korean press are calling their bracket 'the bracket of hell'. Really, the US is getting a massive break. They'll face: Sweden without its best player (Grant); England without its two best players; and China, easily the weakest team in the event. If they don't easily win their bracket, something is seriously wrong with them.
Meanwhile, the Koreans are going against Thailand at its best, with two Major winners plus a top five golfer in Thitikul; Japan, the best that team has ever been IMO (also two Major winners); and Australia, with Minjee (also a Major winner recently) and last week's winner Green (yup, Major winner). I still think Korea is the best of those teams, but they are going to have to work at it if they even want to get to the final four. Jin Young is going to need to bring her A game if she still has it, and she's going to need at least one other player to perform at her peak as well.

Bronte (6:58) and Jodi (8:36) are pissed that Hull and Hall didn't even have the "decency" on Sunday to personally tell them they were blowing off the event. They had to learn about it from the other players. Kudos to the LPGA for having a XXXL wardrobe in stock at the last minute. Hoping for a Hewson/Hedwall matchup at some point. www.youtube.com/live/tgW7MtdMK7s?feature=share

Uniform numbers this week ... selected personally by each player ... no doubt, the reason behind each number will be a TV dead air filler.
Eight wins in majors across three tours

And here I thought the numbers were their world rankings at the time they qualified...

I guess Hyo Joo Kim is the glue guy on the Korean team. A poor man's IK Kim.

Although it doesn't translate, Hyo Joo is known as a real jokester amongst the Korean Krowd. She's probably going to be real good at keeping the ladies loose this week. Interesting first round pairings: Hye Jin Choi/In Gee Chun vs. Minjee Lee/Steph Kyriacou Jin Young Ko/Hyo Joo Kim vs. Hannah Green/Sarah Kemp https://www.instagram.com/p/Crw91QZrmfj Their two best putters on the same team? I was expecting Ko/Choi TBH, so the closest thing to a Korean bomber could be paired with their best iron player. Kim should help keep Ko loose. Then again, In Gee is also a great putter when she is on, and perhaps having Choi get her better approach shots might be the best strategy. Sisters hwaiting! P.S. - Jin Young all in white? I like! https://www.instagram.com/p/CrxLjesgZC_
