2023 U.S. Women's Open

Per my own notes from last year, the Korean qualifier had 72 players and only 10 of them were pros, including old washouts KB and Q Baek.  But, the top KLPGAers were already eligible for the 2022 field, thanks to two cut-off dates that exempted all Rolex top-75 players.  But even during the years when they took the top-5 off the previous season's money list, a lot of KLPGAers would still skip the Korean qualifier ... almost as if there was an unwritten agreement to benefit the amateurs.  The JLPGA pros have not been so generous to ams in Japan.  So, the Korean amateurs now get stiffed ... until Minsol Kim gets escorted into Butler Cabin in April.
