The TV Wowow website gave me the "geo-blocked" message.
YouTube might have a rogue video of the TV Wowow broadcast later, via this search:
2021年 米国女子Qシリーズ
As of now, there is nothing there and the tournament just started.
****
UPDATE: Furue and Shibuno opened with birdies on their first holes ... TV ratings in Japan must be through the roof. I wonder if TV Wowow has plans to follow any of the later groups after Furue and Shibuno are finished ... I'm sure their viewers know all about MHL, An and Penguin Princess and would welcome seeing them ... at least somebody would be watching them because ROK media is too minor league to be there.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CW_71LRMJ7B The 2022 ROY was out in 31, but just even par on the back nine. Still, T-6. Na Rin is MIA on social media and the press, but next year everyone will want her signed cap. KT got it to -2 before finishing at even par.

"THIS IS OUR TIME", screams Mollie ...
... and the people running Getty Images YAWN.
In 2019, Getty Images had Q-series pics from Rounds 1, 2, 7 & 8, as well as a ton of portraits. But, Round One in 2021 is in the books and Getty has nada, zip and zilch as of 10:45 PM EST. Oh well, I'll just have to rely on foreign sources ... and not the first time.
********
I don't see any rogue videos on YT for this event.
********
I'm glad Karis shot -3 ... she wasn't one of my picks, but only because she has had such long stretches of inactivity in the last two years.
********
Shibuno Fever ... as Charlie Rymer used to say, "That's NOT what she was looking for." She's in the same group with Jennifer Chang for Rounds One and Two.
Ayaka Furue had six birdies and three bogeys ... if she has her laser-like distance control locked in, fuggetaboutit, Q-series will be a breeze.

Nice first round for Na Rin An and former amateur star Yaeeun Hong. Both shot -4 to put themselves in the top ten. Hye Jin had a weak start, 2 over early, but corrected that and currently sits at 2 under.
Mi Hyang Lee at +2, not a great start.
Hwaiting!

Mollie's penny-pinching media blackout on Getty photos is not the way to "grow the game." This guy has a ton of player photos. https://www.instagram.com/p/CXASguGNcAR Ben Harpring is a great follow for LPGA photos - he hasn't been out there as much during COVID, but usually follows the tour quite a bit. I've seen and talked with him over here in Asia at tournaments. Does (somewhat silly, rambling) interviews on his YouTube too.

Think Linnea Johansson will be just a little intimidated playing with Na Rin and Hye-Jin tomorrow?
KT played an even better round than An today, vaulting into the Top Ten with a bogey-free -6.

Co-leader at LPGA Q-Series playing in U.S. for just second time everwww.golfchannel.com/news/co-leader-lpga-q-series-playing-us-just-second-time-everNa Rin An had never been to Mobile, Alabama, before this week. In fact, this is just her second time competing in the U.S.
She’s playing like she’s played here for years.
The 25-year-old South Korean, who tied for 63rd at the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open in Houston, fired 5-under 67 on Magnolia Grove’s Crossings Course in Friday’s second round of LPGA Q-Series to grab a share of the 36-hole lead in the 108-hole qualifying event.
“My confidence level is pretty high,” said An, who sits at 9 under along with Sweden’s Linnea Johansson.
An, ranked 67th in the Rolex Rankings, has played on the KLPGA since turning pro in 2017, amassing two wins and eight other top-3 finishes. She also tied for third at the LPGA’s BMW Ladies Championship last season in her native South Korea.
Her goal, though, is to experience many different cultures, which would certainly be helped by obtaining an LPGA card.
“It's a tour that I've always wanted to challenge myself on playing,” An said of the LPGA. “It's why I'm here.”

Day 2 The KLPGA cream rose to the top on day two. Na Rin An is playing like someone who really wants to get good status on tour next year. Meanwhile, almost no one is talking about Hye Jin Choi... yet. Let's see if Penguin can put together another great round tomorrow. Getting to Know Na Rin Anhttps://www.instagram.com/p/CXC4dtLF0yZ Yaeeun Hong did not have a great day today, but an even par 71 left her at 4 under and still in the top 20. Mi Hyang rallied to move under the cut line. But Min Seo Kwak is DFL and is probably Symetra bound at this point. Sisters hwaiting!!

Fyi, it's a 203-mile drive from next week's golf course to Atlanta's airport ... I think Shibuno Fever will be making that trip, but needs a reminder that the scores are cumulative over two weeks ... Jennifer Chang (left) gets it (T-31).
Ayaka Furue deftly handled the clown mouth and windmill holes ... four birdies, no bogeys.
*********
Four Canucks in the field and I picked the two that stunk it up. I think Sharpy will rally and make it to next week ... she is on the Lori Kane LPGA lifer career track. Costabile picked up four piddling checks in fifteen Symetra starts this year, where did she come from?
*********
Nice job so far by Weiwei Zhang (T-17) ... it was a tough call NOT putting her on my list, but it appears that she has worked off a lot of rust on the Symetra tour this year.
*********
Looks like Alyaa (T-94) will need her GoFundMe account after all.
*********
Not the career trajectory Robyn Choi was looking for ... from playing a practice round in Bedminster with the Old Ko & Cyborg in 2017 ... to being T-105 in 2021 Q-Series.
