It appears that the LPGA made a deal with the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail company to use two of its golf courses in Alabama ... oh those lucky players, it's only about a 200-mile drive between them.
The first four rounds will be Dec. 2 thru 5 at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, AL. A cut will be made ... the number is unknown as of now. The second four rounds will be Dec. 9 thru 12 at Highland Oaks in Dothan, AL. The top-45 plus ties will receive LPGA status.

Good job finding the list ... we beat GolfWrx to the posting.
So, the top-45 plus ties will make it out of 110 players ... it would almost be as useful as tossing your bag on the course and flipping a coin ... even MHL can't screw up these odds!
The more important question is which newcomers among the top-45+ players will flounder on the LPGA tour in 2022? I'll withhold that until I see who makes it.
Memo to Shibuno and Furue: After passing the test, don't bother going home, you have no future there. Btw, I'm surprised not to find any airport departure pics for them among my usual sources ... you'd think they'd be in the air by now ... the media there was always on top of Yui's and NASA's comings and goings. I haven't seen any similar photos for Choi and An, too.

I'm conducting an experiment to see if I'm smarter than the Rolex computer and/or dumber than a random sampling of names pulled from a hat (metaphorically speaking).
Here are my picks for the players who will be in the top-45 in alpha order:
Alyaa Abdulghany Na Rin An Nicole Broch Estrup Sarah Burnham Maddie Caldwell-Young Jennifer Chang SC Cheng Peiyun Chien Hye Jin Choi Allisen Corpuz Gemma Dryburgh Lindy Duncan Ayaka Furue Sofia Garcia Kristen Gillman Linn Grant Dani Holmqvist Janie Jackson Hyo Joon Jang(a) Lauren Kim Gina Kim(a) Stephanie Kyriacou Agathe Laisne Andrea Lee Jaclyn Lee Mi Hyang Lee Brooke Matthews(a) Meghan MacLaren Kim Metraux Haley Moore Elizabeth Nagel Sanna Nuutinen Bianca Pagdanganan EK Pedersen Jessica Peng Pauline Roussin-Bouchard Alena Sharp Hinako Shibuno Sarah Jane Smith Kelly Tan Atthaya Thitikul Alana Uriell Anne van Dam Jing Yan Ruoning Yin
The only "formula" I employed was going heavy with the players who finished in the top-10 of Stage 2 LPGA Q-school. Many of my picks are obvious, but I also tried to bet on forecast "overachieving" based upon personal observations at LPGA events; that's how Burnham, Chien, Dryburgh and Nagel made the list.
When it's all done, I'll compare my picks to two other lists -
1.) Random 45 players - I counted off every 7th player on the LPGA alpha list until I had 45 names ... whoops, Shibuno Fever didn't make it. Well, it was random.
2.) The top-45 players on the Rolex Rankings ... I looked up everyone and there are exactly 45 names who are ranked between #1 and #399. There are also ten names who don't have a ranking ... they are amateurs or recent amateurs who have not accumulated any big-time pro tournaments, I guess (including my picks of Alyaa, Corpuz and Garcia).
The good news is that MHL made all three lists.

Seoul Sisters vs GolfWrx would be a great Family Feud style LPGA trivia contest. Year end event?

I didn't know that Magnolia Grove conducted a two-day practice event on Nov. 18-19 ... one of my picks for the top-45 was the winner, Gemma Dryburgh. Her looper is a regular ... she had him at Shoprite.
Here are the full results ... good job Bianca.
************
Peiyun Chien won the practice event in Dothan last week.
************
Not a lot of players in these practice events ... the pro entrance fee was $385 and amateur fee was $185.

Seoul Sisters vs GolfWrx would be a great Family Feud style LPGA trivia contest. Year end event? I don't know about that. GolfWrx's LPGA forum is like Seoul Sisters circa 2016. Their two top posters (by far) are Mr3putt (replaying all his greatest hits about "Tina," "Dave," et al) and 18majors (still hustling ridiculous bets where the loser "self-bans" from the forum). There is some occasionally good info there, but I much prefer the way SS has evolved.

They're here ...
Shibuno Fever arrived in the U.S. last week ... I don't know the story on this looper yet ... probably someone she brought over, but I'm only guessing.
Ayaka Furue wasted no time getting here ... got in two straight days of 18-hole practice.
*********
Some late money at GolfWrx is going on Savannah Vilaubi ... I thought about her and decided NO WAY ... yes, she is super fit and has good length, but she flat-out gagged at this year's Spring Lake USWO qualifier in a playoff, losing to high schooler Ganne and a frickin' Rutgers (!) college player. For similar reasons, I had to pass on Nuria Iturrioz, who was in the thick of it at Spring Lake, but four-putted the 35th hole. For similar reasons, I should have dumped on Bianca, too, who stunk the whole day at Spring Lake (78-80) ... but, I'm convinced it was all mental - that course, location and time of year didn't suit her. She'll gitter done HERE!

Per Japanese reports, Furue's looper is Mike Scott, who was with her at Evian and the WBO ... never heard of him before, but he has worked for Laura Davies.

If Shibuno collapses is she still in the Sinclair Rancho Mirage? What about Hae Ran? Will she get comped into the final Dinah?

I'm guessing this is a KLPGA stock photo ... I haven't found any pics of them in Mobile.

His Excellency should snap up the newly available Dinah location for the Aramco series starting in 2023. I'll bet he would have no trouble attracting a fine contingent of LPGA players.
