I know MHL was on the field list earlier in the week, but changed her mind about playing, I guess (she's not listed as a WD or DQ). I assume she was not mentioned on TV and I can't find anything new on her via the regular online Korean sources. She is also skipping Marathon, which she usually plays. Here's hoping she has a plan to get well or straightened out in time for Scotland.
*********
I saw Bea whiff her drive at #18 today...it was counted as a stroke, as it should have been. It hasn't been posted on Youtube...yet. Didn't really matter, as she had no chance of making the cut by that time.

I don't mind the occasional birdie fest. The interviews w/ the players were fun. Sounded like they won a huge prize at the fair. And it's a different kind of pressure, to keep the pedal down. I never have any issues with the courses. After all they play the same course and the player with the lowest score wins, fair and square. Tough courses favor a certain players, and easier courses favor different groups of players. People should complain about courses being too tough, if they complain about the courses being too easy. I’m with you in that tough or easy doesn’t really matter. It does look like one dimensional aerial target golf though. Might as well be throwing lawn jarts.

3:30 is a late start for a Green Bay sports fan. Wonder if they set up a detox on site.

That's got to be the latest start for a pairing I remember seeing. What you can get away with in the Northern latitudes close to the Summer Solstice.
-3 cut line and both Angel Yin and Sung Hyun Park fell below it.
Good results for the Seoul Sisters so far. Amy Yang and MJ Hur are in it after recent subpar play.

Round 2 Sei Young Kim shot a 65 despite lip-outs on 3 of the final five holes. She's sitting with a four shot lead and looking strong heading into the weekend. In Gee had another strong round, even better than Thursday. At 11 under, she'll be in the penultimate group tomorrow with Amy Yang, another top player who hasn't factored much in results this year. Nice to see them coming into form at last! Jin Young Ko at 9 under just outside the top ten. The new common wisdom about Jin Young is that she is not playing as well right now as at the beginning of the year. They repeated that again on today's coverage. Don't you believe it. It's almost as if she didn't just finish t-11th at the last Major (and t-9th the week before that). She is playing fine, and I think we could see her rally and be a factor this weekend. MJ Hur sighting at 9 under as well. Sung Hyun as expected missed the cut, although she at least had a below-par score today. Expect more low scores tomorrow. Will some players crack the 20 under mark the end of round 3? We'll see... Sisters Hwaiting!!! Sei Young Kim Eun Hee Ji Amy Yang In Gee Chun Minjee Lee Mirim Lee Sung Hyun Park

It's very unusual for In Gee to post during a tournament; but it's the right thing to do. No reasons to keep a routine that delivers only one win in 41 starts as a LPGA member. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk73Fltg69y

Too bad it's just a shill post for SEVEN of her sponsors. Standard Operating Procedure for In Gee's IG these days. In Gee, to keep sponsors happy: Winning > IG Posts

Interesting that In Gee is 8th in scoring average though. Just behind Lexi. Solid.

I'm looking forward to seeing In Gee run out and hug her good friend [INSERT NAME HERE] on the 18th green tomorrow.

In Gee is lost (for her, 8th in scoring average is lost).
Too much pressure. She has to take back her social media and stop letting her manager post stock photos and long lists of sponsors in a misguided attempt to keep them happy.
Whatever happened to that player who told stories on IG about picking blueberries and baking a pie with them? Find that girl and start winning again.
Please prove me wrong and win this thing tomorrow.

Please prove me wrong and win this thing tomorrow. In Gee hasn't dealt with pressure well. She missed the cut when she defended USWO title in 2016. She didn't win in 2017 because she desperately wanted to win to land a main sponsor. She's also lost all three of her LPGA playoffs. UL International Crown has been on her mind all year, and as a result, she's off to her worst year as a professional. She's clearly no Inbee Park, mental strength is not her strong suit. However, she's talented and has one of the best swings ever. She just needs to find the right footing and starts to win again.
