www.lpga.com/tournaments/jtbc-founders-cup/final-fieldHuh...WTF.....The Mini Rocket (HYP's sister) successfully completes Q school...yet she's 2nd alternate in this field. This is really wrong.....IMO....successful Q school pros should be high enough on the priority list to make all full field events.

Hee Kyung Seo! (Welcome back!)
In Gee Chun is getting some love from the sponsor this week as well!
And Hyo Joo Kim in her third start; it will be interesting to see if she plays straight through to ANA.

I'm not surprised Tutta, Inbee & SYR won't be in Phoenix...they are in China this week at Mission Hills.....LET event.

Good to see Hee Kyung Seo back from maternity leave!
I'm glad Tony brought up that Founders Cup is not a full field. I counted 130 participants. Maybe LPGA will add two more for a total of 132 like last year.
Last Year's Kia Classic had 144 players. I really do think it's odd that all of the Top-20 Q-School finishers don't qualify. That's effed up. The four remaining Q-School players hopefully will play in two weeks.

If you pass Q-School you should at least get in a field of 130. There is something strange going on this year.

At least we don't have top-25 in the world Ha Na Jang having to Monday qualify this week!!! (or top-25 In Gee Chun for that matter, although being she isn't an LPGA member, that would at least be more understandable) Inbee kind of couldn't avoid Mission Hills this week, being she is the defending champ and all! I'm glad she isn't trying to play five weeks in a row!

Hyo Joo had a top ten there last year as an invite, so no surprise there. I'm not sure what other events in the States she will play other than the Majors. The only other sure bet is Lotte in Hawaii, being they are her sponsors and all (and she had a top ten there last year as well!).

I revisited the priority list. Sophia Popov (ex USC TROJAN) is ranked 142. Ju Young Park is ranked 143. I guess that's why they are not yet in the tournament. Q- School winners are put in the last category.

Q- School winners are put in the last category. They are put in the "last category only if they didn't finish in the top 20 in school. If they finished in the top 20 their Priority rating is much better. OK! Then why aren't they in this tournament of one hundred thirty players. They both finished in top twenty. What is there present position on the priority list.

Well, her sponsors are paying the bills, so she has to show up at the two Lotte events. And it makes sense to be at both events leading up to the ANA. But boy, I hope she doesn't get too burned out by the end!!

Yes, it's going to be grueling as Hyo Joo will fly to Korea after ANA for the 1st Lotte event (KLPGA) and fly back to Hawaii for the 2nd Lotte event (LPGA), which has a Wednesday start. After Hawaii, Hyo Joo will tee it up at Swing Skirts. Not sure about Texas?

Ju Young Park is now the first alternate as Azahara Munoz is now out of the field. Glad to see ex USC Trojan Sophia Popov get in. There is a good chance Ju Young also will get in.
