In Gee Chun will be playing the next three LPGA tournaments. That's a great way to get some practice playing internationally. Good luck to her!

So the next five weeks the sponsors are JTBC (Korean network), Kia (Korean Car company), ANA (Japanese airline), LotteMart (Korean department store) and Swinging Skirts (Taiwanese Golf association). Asians are ruining the tour!

Asians are ruining the tour! Is that you, Carolyn? And of the 32 LPGA events...I think 21 events have a lead sponsor with a corporate HQ outside the US. It's laughable that they say the LPGA is a US based tour.....lol. The US dominates in the number of LPGA members and except for a short spell in the 1st half of 2014....black haired/yellow skinned pros have been holding up the trophy many times on Sunday. Time for The Pink Diva, Korda, Lexi, Bam Bam. Wie, etc to stop Instragram'ing and hit the range and practice green. Yanks don't care for women's golf....how much more evident.....it took 7 months after the defunct KNC to announce a sponsor until the Japan came to the rescue....they should have let the KNC die a natural death and returned to 4 majors. I hope Whan initiates a policy that all LPGA pros must be able to speak proficient Korean or face suspension....oh what.........

I like the pairing of Mi Hang Lee, Hyo Joo Kim and He Young Park. They may not get much TV time.
They are opposite Inkster, Kerr and Jessica. In front of Lewis's group. I do like Jessica though. I will be following them anyway. I hope He Young plays faster than the last time.

In ten years the only U.S. major will be the U.S. Open. Poppie's Pond will be drained and serve as additional parking for the club members.

You're joking, but I hope Whan does tell them to learn a few lines of Korean and Japanese -- given not just these events, but other 'presented by' events like the next few that JTBC presents but isn't the top sponsor, the American gals should be doing whatever they can to keep the sponsors happy!! Won and yen talks! (I saw a clip online of Bo Mee Lee and Ha Neul Kim at a Honma event. Bo Mee by now is virtually fluent in Japanese, and even Ha Neul, new to the JLPGA tour, spoke a few lines in Japanese to the applause of the audience).

"i reject your reality and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage In addition to your entirely warped an incorrect interpretation of what happened to the Dinah Shore.... if you had a secret vote where LPGA players had to Sophie's Choice between the US Open and The Dinah?...... you would be shocked. Nobody else would, but mr3putt would be shocked All those players who publicly say The Dinah is their favorite event??, all the love and extra coverage from Golf Channel?? ... mr3putt sees right through that charade

It's all a moot point, because the LPGA would never part with the Dinah and the USGA would never scrap the US Women's Open. Hell, they're making a US Women's Senior Open! The LPGA Tour may be the most global "American" based Tour out there, but their headquarters are still firmly based in the US, and they like the idea of holding on to something that is inherently "theirs", which would be the Dinah. I would have thought that the LPGA Championship would go away, but now the PGA of America has taken that over. We're going to be sitting at five majors now for a while.
