Someday I will attend this tournament. I'll stand next to Tony so I'll be a big shot and get the VIP treatment I deserve. I think Tony is bright enough to have you on his IGNORE list.....lol.

No. I can bluff my way in to the good parties until they finally boot me.

I don't remember which one missed the cut. But after the second round, at the Founders. Allison, Minjee and Jessica were hanging out laughing and eating ice cream. They are three fun loving ladies. Korda and GIMMEE missed the cut. I think Korda is friends with everyone....I think she just wants to have fun and be able to make a nice living....why not....that's why her nickname on WRX was/is GOOFY. I have yet to see Petr at an event....even at a young age Korda..... traveled to events on her own....the anti-Wie circus. At the 2012 CN CWO a volunteer yelled at Korda and Kang running and chasing each other inside the clubhouse....the vol was clueless they were pros...duh. It's probably good then that Jessica chose golf over tennis. While there are certainly friends on the WTA tour, there is a lot more tension between competitors than there appears to be on the LPGA. There are people on the WTA tour that can't stand Maria Sharapova and Eugenie Bouchard. And neither of those two care a hoot about it. The LPGA, I'm sure has people that rub others the wrong way too...was it one of the Ammacapane sisters that had a bit of temper...but I see a lot more unity on the LPGA than I see in probably most individual sports.

It was Daniel Ammacapane. I remember her berating a very young Michelle Wei. For walking in her line beyond the hole. She was kind of I am great and you are not.

The white players don't seem to like the Asians, with a few exceptions, of course. Conversely, Paula Creamer is the only person in the world who is so highly regarded, she could single-handedly reunite the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

I wasn't watching as much during the Bivens era. Did she have a group of players on her side of the language policy? i could see how it wouldn't be too contentious if everybody thought they could easily pass the requirements. Did it blow up from player opposition or because it was probably illegal and got terrible press?

Did it blow up from player opposition or because it was probably illegal and got terrible press? I think she did tacitly at least. I can't remember. Maybe that's just my inner belief that there were/are players who wish there weren't so many Asian players out there. I could be paranoid about that. I try to forget that sad period. She even got some tournament director from a State Farm event to back her...until State Farm themselves came out against the policy once the uproar in the press started and legal threats were made. Also, I think she tried to play it off like she wasn't targeting the Seoul Sisters but called a players meeting about the rule only for the Koreans. There was eventually a players "secret" meeting about Bivens but that was after the language issue....that was a power meeting apparently with some high profile players. At that point, because of many misteps and frankly, her brusque way of dealing with people, she was done.

Good to see Abbott back...Crafter is kinda boring.
Today's coverage might be boring....lots of no names...hopefully they show a lot of GIMME and Charley.

She didn't make them any money so her stupid ideas and rules were irrelevant.

Did it blow up from player opposition or because it was probably illegal and got terrible press? This is from memory, but I recall a couple of the American players saying it was a good idea. I'm remembering Angela Stanford being one of them, but I'm not 100% sure about that. As I recall, what really killed the idea was when some Asian legislators in California threatened a legal action against the tour, which scared the bejeebers out of some of the sponsors. She let it drop pretty quickly after that. Keep in mind that the idea never went beyond the talking stage and was always very vague. How long would a player have to come up to speed? What constituted enough English skill? What happened to players who didn't pass muster? She said at the time it would only affect a very few players, which caused many (including me) to ask, then why make such a big deal about this? It was a real clusterf**k all around, basically. Here is a good summary. English Only policy abandoned

I think the only time Bivens had players by her side was if she was standing next to a cliff. LMAO. It just goes to show you how slow members here are...no one ever compliments you on your brilliance....ok....I'll retract that statement....members here get it and know you are a tool/fool.

English Only policy abandonedI'm surprised...Stanford???....LMAO....she slammed Ryann behind her back .....she stated to fellow Yanks that Ryann was not a 2011 Solheim worthy captain's pick. Remember her statement that she didn't want to travel where a passport was required...in other words....why would I hop on a plane to play in front of some Asians. Bivens is an idiot....knows jack sh*t about golf....the BoD that hired her were a bunch of tools too....nuff said.

It's crazy to watch SS Feng waddle her way around a course.....who would guess you were watching an elite pro......head scratching.
Watching Recari and Xtina in their interviews...one might think they were the nicest pros on tour....LPGA acting classes are good...The Pink One and MW are the course professors.
