When In Gee was about to strike her putt on 17 Lyds took her hand off her hip and shook her whole arm away from her body. Both her and her shadow were in In Gee's line of sight. Probably just her nerves.

...........but there is only one In Gee. 18majors Are you Gxer from Rusty's Playhouse? He often latched onto the fresh new faces of the LPGA. You went from Korda and now your drooling/fandom over Dumbo.

And really, grass is grass, Left...are you leftagain from WRX? Yes, different grass doesn't come into play as much for the pros because their ball striking is so /puregreat....but trying to chip out from moist 1" bermuda rough where the ball is sitting down vs. chipping from rye grass rough is completely different. Big difference in bermuda, poa ana and bent grass greens and there's nothing quite like ripping a 12" divot off a bent grass fairway and still hitting it pure.

Well we can go back and fourth about this forever. Like 18majors suggested "let it play out and see what happens".

Who is bashing Dumbo?...everyone loves In Gee...it's just that no one is drooling over Dumbo like you....not even Happyfan. I watched a bit of my ANA recording last night...Dumbo always acknowledges the fans and while walking to the next tee, she purposefully turned around to see who was fanboying her...unlike Pouty Face would couldn't acknowledge the fans while walking to the 18th green at the ANA. Anyone who would root for Lewis is very confused ....I witnessed 3 members of ss.com cheering for Pouty Face over Ko at the CP CWO playoff....LMAO. BTW....Nelly Korda is gagging it at this week's Symetra event.

Hey Putt, yeah, Left is Left Agreed, the pro's have such good technique that whilst the grass is different it's not such a big deal to them. For us mere mortals it's a different story of course, I moved from WA to QLD over here and the grass in QLD is so much more grainy and hard to play, particularly into the grain, it does my head in.. lol

Larry the Looper was at the ANA (didn't have a bag in the tourney) and gave a detailed answer to someone who thought the event was top-notch:
You must not have been around as long as me A. Ham. Let’s take your points one by one. There were many more fans when it was known as the Dinah. There were pro-ams on Tuesday and Wednesday, both on the tournament course and the Palmer course. Celebrities? What were there, three? In the past, many, many TV, movie, sports stars and politicians played and the galleries were much bigger because of it. The sponsor would bring in a couple senior pros to entertain their clients and give lessons. That is long gone. How about the grandstand on the eighteenth. Maybe they couldn’t fill them up last year so they decided to make only six rows and sell the top level to a vodka sponsor. That’s classy. They used to fill up early in the morning no matter how many seats were available. Why do you think I’m mad about something? Can you point out that part of my post. It was merely and observation based on past experience and by the way, the caddies who were out back then totally agree.
One more thing. In the past, there wasn’t a problem getting volunteers but there is now. There are holes where spotters are needed in the fairway but have to go without this year. The tournament used to cover the cost of the uniforms but it is now a burden of the volunteers.

BTW, he'll have Cindy Feng's bag in Hawaii and Frisco.

The LPGA has to do something to get fans in the US. There were 20,000 lesbians in the Coachella Valley and almost none of them attended the golf tournament. I think mr3putt is dead on. A calendar is a great idea if it is tastefully done. Instead of the tired old saying, "These girls can play", why not change it to "Some of these girls will play a round?" Maybe today's Asian players don't appeal to the Hilton pool party crowd. But, I have this observation in my 2009 Sybase archives: For a brief moment, I thought I was at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. While hanging out near the 8th tee box, a burly, rough-looking woman showed up. She wore a sleeveless green t-shirt and long camouflage shorts...tattoos covered her arms and legs. A small older blonde woman was with her who looked totally opposite.
Regarding the green t-shirt, it had two rows of gold lettering in front. ‘Choi’ in English was printed on top. Korean characters were printed below, but the wrinkles in the shirt made them hard to decipher. Then H.J. Choi walked over from the 7th green, approached this fan, pointed at the t-shirt and cracked up. I have no clue if they knew each other from before...and I don’t need to know!
I got a little closer and figured out the Hangeul: chin-gu (friend). This fan followed H.J. after she completed the 8th hole (her 17th of the day). Obviously, it’s a myth that American fans won’t relate to the Korean players!

Who is bashing Dumbo?...everyone loves In Gee...it's just that no one is drooling over Dumbo like you.... Sorry about that, I didn't know it's so obvious! Cheers! Here's a post from torontogolfnuts.com so you can fawn over Dumbo\s stats....LMAO....some guy waking up at 430am to think about the Canadian Princess. **************************************************************************************************** I woke up at 4:30 am this morning, thinking about Brooke’s stats. Sounds like obsession to me. She’s been wonderfully consistent in 2016 but I’ve had this niggling thought that she is usually way behind the winner’s score. Upon really awakening, I decided to take the top ten players in the world, add up the number of strokes that they trailed the winner in their tournaments this year, and compare. I was betting that Brooke would be right in the ball park, and she was. Let’s look at Inbee Park. She’s competed in six tournaments of the eight so far, missed the cut once, and withdrew once. I took her total number of strokes behind (45) and divided by 4, giving an average differential of 11.25 (ninth place). Here are my homemade results, with the player’s Rolex ranking listed after her name: 1. In Gee Chun, 8, 10/3 = 3.33 2. Lydia Ko, 1, 23/6 = 3.83 3. Ha Na Jang, 6, 55/8 = 6.88 4. Brooke Henderson, 7, 53/7 = 7.57 5. Lexi Thompson, 3, 48/6 = 8.00 6. Amy Yang, 9, 45/5 = 9.00 7. Sei Young Kim, 5, 59/6 = 9.83 8. Stacy Lewis, 4, 71/7 = 10.14 9. Inbee Park, 2, 45/4 = 11.25 10. So Yeon Ryu, 10, 72/5 = 14.40 I love stats, even though they’re not totally objective. There’s quite a difference between In Gee’s three tournaments and Ha Na’s eight. Plus you can argue that anyone who’s missed a cut should have their score lowered. Oh well. It’s still fun. Go Brooke.
