Xi Yu Lin is the only "big time" LPGAer playing in 2016...either her or one of the forty KLPAers will win it...including Shin Ae Ahn.  The cut will be top-60 plus ties. Scottish amateur Hannah McCook (age 22) was given a sponsor's exemption. She is ranked 700th on WAGR. Does her uncle run the pro shop?! Instead, they should have brought in the highest ranked am from China (ranked 29th on WAGR)...drum roll, please...MUNI HE! I guess she has to spend that useless week in high school.  |

It's too bad Muni didn't obtain an invite to the ANA.....I've put in a request that The Smiling Buddha sit on the ANA invite steering committee. |

It's too bad Muni didn't obtain an invite to the ANA..... Huh? How do you know this? The 2016 field hasn't been posted yet. Last year they invited Haley Moore, who is currently 62nd on the WAGR list, so Muni would be a worthy addition for 2016. |

I played a sunset rd at McCleery.....at 5pm there were 5 young girls on the putting green with a teacher/pro...hmmmmm....all the gals were Asian....there was also a young guy on the green too.....hmmmmm....Asian too. It's a good thing the Smiling Buddha fits in well here in Van City.....I'm kinda surprised the clubhouse restaurants never serve any combo's 1.2,3, etc.

The team part of the event was even more amazing last year, when the Korean team consisted of Inbee Park and So Yeon Ryu. Yeah, it was a massacre.

The morning wave of 66 players is getting clobbered...just three players under par and the course is set at only 6,158 yards (with five par-3s and five par-5s). The best players are in the PM groups.
