Hmmmm....classic Merican racism? Pairings and their Rolex Rankings So Yeon Ryu(6) paired with Ariya(63) and Lindberg(85) Hyo Joo Kim(7) and last week's winner paired with Icher(59) and Yokomine(65) Dumbo(10) in her inaugural appearance as a LPGA member and USWO Champ paired with Salas(43) and Xi Yu Lin(51) Yet The Pink Diva(54) plays with Lydia(1) in a featured pairing....huh??? I don't see what the issue is. Top ranked players are grouped with players ranked 43 to 85. Top ranked Lydia is grouped with a player ranked 54.

The pairings are out; most of Americans including Lydia Ko and Brooke Henderson start from 1st tee on Wednesday. In Gee, paired with Lin and Salas, starts from 10th tee at 12:35 PM. She will be on TV slots for both Wednesday and Thursday. Starting from the wrong side of the course, we won't see In Gee much unless she is in contention during her plays. www.lpga.com/tournaments/coatesgolfchampionshippresentedbyrlcarriers/pairingsWell, hopefully we'll be seeing plenty of In Gee on Friday and Saturday. Go Dumbo!!!

As followers of SeoulSisters, we're Americans but we're most likely super minority. Whether we like it or not, Golf Channel and LPGA aren't hurting badly because of us. But Chun is a Major winner, top prospect for Rookie of the Year, and top ten in the world. Why on Earth would they not want to show her in a featured pairing? Why would they assume American fans don't want to watch a player like that? Would they bury a player like that at a PGA event? And that's not even considering the fact that this feed goes to Korea as well, and they would certainly love to see her.

Hmmm...I wonder which 'real' or 'fake' Korean will win with Lewis finishing 2nd again....luv it when Ms Pouty Face finishes 2nd ....go Sista's!! Lol. To be fair, Stacy wasn't quite as bad this past week, with only a handful of "hand waves" on the missed putts. She was actually quite upbeat during her post-round interview. I think she may be getting used to finishing 2nd.

This year at the US Open, the Korean women have to tee off after sunset and they will not be allowed to wear night vision goggles. Lol. So that means they'll win by only 3 shots?

Checked all sources, including a reporter on the course, but nobody has anything about In Gee. This is such a drastic departure from when she played KLPGA, where she was the center of the universe, where everything revolved around.
We'll have to count on Happy to get a glimpse of In Gee from Korean sources.

Even though she is a math genius, IGC is really struggling to learn English and I get the impression she doesn't really care one way or the other. She is under extraordinary pressure and wasting time studying English may hurt her game. I guess if she really wants, she could hire NYC's tutor for a couple of years. I wonder if she doesn't want to speak broken English. What I mean is, as a very intelligent and accomplished person maybe there is a need in her to master things. I am a little surprised at how many foreign LPGA players don't at least have interview cliche English. In tennis, it's rare that a new foreign player can't at least give rehearsed English amswers. It sometimes happens but much rarer. In the end, I don't care. My fandom doesn't depend on whether someone uses a translator. Of course, I also come from a mixed Asian and American family. I said I love me some NYC, but if Na Yeon Choi never spoke a word of English in her life, I would still be a huge fan.

IE, not your basic English vocab word. I think she speaks fairly well, but it probably takes her a few moments to formulate her sentences, and she feels pressure to be quicker in a setting like that, so doesn't want to use it. Hopefully we'll find out soon when she's giving a victory interview. In Gee practicing:

I don't care if IGC ever speaks English. Wasting time learning English will take away from her golf game. She is off to a good start. 1 under after two. She will be ok as long as she doesn't take putting lessons from Ian Baker-Finch.

-2 after 3 for IGC. Getting ready for a big dose of not IGC on the broadcast though.

I love Mi Hyang's new profile photo at lpga.com...aside from that, she (76) is killing me. pbs.twimg.com/media/CaPwGRzWEAAqVl8.jpgNever saw this at the range before...hands-on coaching from Daddy ...I assume Old Mike is history; that's not him in the maroon shirt. pbs.twimg.com/media/CaPxzsCWEAA7r3J.jpgpbs.twimg.com/media/CaPxzubWYAA5Gbk.jpg******** Nice 68 by Kelly Tan; was -6 thru 14 holes...another case proving that the majority of top-notch Chinese players don't come from Red China (or stay far away if they do). ******** Larry the Looper has Cindy Feng(75) this week. ******** Team Coates scoreboard: J. Inkster -3 69 A. Jacobsen +1 thru 16 S. Kemp +2 thru 6 Keep telling me it's the arrow and not the Indian.
