I can't even watch Stacy golf she's so grumpy. I have to go pretty far down the Rolex Rankings top #100 before I find an American fresh face that I'm excited to watch play. Ernst, Park, Kaufman, Green and Kang. I'm maybe ready for the Solheim team to turn over is what I'm saying.
Ha Na Jang and Charley Hull saved the event for TV viewers. Also Minjee doing double duty as interpreter and spraying Hyo Joo with shaving cream against her will.

I agree SYKim is fun to watch. Anyone who smiles and is animated is fun to watch. Otherwise you better be a sharp dresser. Some of the Nike and Adidas athletes the LPGA likes to promote really are not that interesting on TV.

There will be 3 hours of TV, instead of the usual 2 hours, on Wednesday.
This is, in a sense, the first full field start of 2016 season.

Just talking fashion for starters...
I think mass-market sporty-bland monotone looks terrible and I'm willing to root against them for it. (and lady bugs?! cmon lexi) I don't REALLY blame the players tho, it's taylor made and puma, etc. If the pink diva picked out her own duds it would be outta control. #FreePaula!
I actually like all the players, it's just more fun to have players you cheer for and cheer against and exaggerate your view online.
Lexi, Korda and Lee is a good group of youngsters for Merica but we need a few players that can't pass Adidas Corps. psychological profile minimum requirements. Original characters is what the tour needs.

The pairings are out; most of Americans including Lydia Ko and Brooke Henderson start from 1st tee on Wednesday. In Gee, paired with Lin and Salas, starts from 10th tee at 12:35 PM. She will be on TV slots for both Wednesday and Thursday. Hmmmm....classic Merican racism?  Pairings and their Rolex Rankings So Yeon Ryu(6) paired with Ariya(63) and Lindberg(85) Hyo Joo Kim(7) and last week's winner paired with Icher(59) and Yokomine(65) Dumbo(10) in her inaugural appearance as a LPGA member and USWO Champ paired with Salas(43) and Xi Yu Lin(51) Yet The Pink Diva(54) plays with Lydia(1) in a featured pairing....huh??? Is Carolyn Bivens back?...now on the LPGA pairing committee. And before you say it's catering to a US based TV audience....the Korean networks pay a pretty penny for the GC feed. At least they got one pairing right....Alison "GIMME" Lee is paired with Suzann "PICK UP" Petterson #DRAMA And let's not forget they paired GIMME with Charley "BLADES" Hull last week. It's not even that I mind them stacking the pairings for TV, I just think they do it wrong. It makes for an UNINTERESTING broadcast.
Put Lydia, Lexi and In Gee together and maybe the casual viewer passing by will be drawn in by the commentators breathless play by play calling the match of the century. Follow it up with Hull, Minjee and and Sei Young Kim.
Paula Creamer might be famous but she's boring. Sunglasses off.......sunglasses on.

As followers of SeoulSisters, we're Americans but we're most likely super minority. Whether we like it or not, Golf Channel and LPGA aren't hurting badly because of us.
The saving grace is that pairing doesn't guarantee TV time. At the end of the day, they show leaders on TV.
What remains to be seen is whether In Gee can capture top billing from Lydia Ko, if In Gee consistently gets upper hand in their duels.

This year at the US Open, the Korean women have to tee off after sunset and they will not be allowed to wear night vision goggles.
