The clock is ticking, hopefully In Gee will play well enough to be on TV.

Coates Golf recently signed up Juli Inkster and Sarah Kemp and they're starting to make small inroads at Dick's Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy. I guess Molly's not worried about burning up her inheritance. Wow....Juli and Sarah in their portfolio....great endorsements....I guess all the female members on this site are now going to rush out to their local Dick's and GG to demo them in their simulators.....LMAO. Coates doesn't even specify what stock shafts are used....yup....lots of women willing to pay just under 2 grand for 13 clubs....lol. Most casual women who play 'hit and giggle' normally buy the one stop shop club packages including bag for $400-$800...and the more (although rare) addicted women golfers who are 'competent' golfers .....from what I've seen......play men's clubs. Considering Dick's is shrinking their golf offerings.....they likely have a 120 day pymt plan and an additional clause that any unsold gear past 6 months can be returned for a full refund. Hopefully Coates apparel takes off to offset poor gear sales. Maybe Molly's hoping Parsons will buy her out in 12 months. Nice idea to set up a beer garden....but I think 2 for 1 dinner or early bird dinner coupons to Red Lobster or Olive Garden would have been more successful to increase attendance....isn't The Villages nearby?

The clock is ticking, hopefully In Gee will play well enough to be on TV. If history repeats itself......based on Yank racism....Dumbo won't be in a 'premier' group in rds 1 and 2. Do you remember how often NYC was snubbed by the LPGA....even though she was a RR top 10 pro.....on the flip side........ we'll likely see the Canadian Princess in a featured group....seems like she's an adopted Merican. But we'll all be rooting for Dumbo to play well so we can see her on TV.

If one of the new Thai players wins in 2 weeks....I don't think there's a pole large enough to braced the signage required for 2017....assuming Coates doesn't file for Chapter 11 by then.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Coates release more affordable clubs in the future. They start with a high end set, put a few well known faces on it, and then when there's enough interest, release cheaper clubs and/or sets targeted towards the casual player.

Arg They'll be bankrupt before the above occurs. They only thing to save Coates is for them to sponsor some of the Korean hottie pro's in club and apparel sponsorships, including tour issue knee highs....therefore you'll include pics of them in your WRX fashion thread....then all the WRX club ho's who look at your thread will buy their wives and/or girlfriends some Coates gear and clothing. So did you go to Streamsong or Phoenix on your recent golf vacation?

NYC has class and charm to pull off these excruciating dog and pony shows. Id like to have to see her do it 2 years in a row.

So did you go to Streamsong or Phoenix on your recent golf vacation? Yeah, they should sponsor Dumbo or Kanga-Ryu. I played 4 rounds in Phoenix/Scottsdale. I'll be heading to Florida in 3 weeks for 8 rounds. I haven't finalized my rounds yet, but I will most likely hit Streamsong on the final day. I was there 2 years ago, and it's a fantastic place. It's no Bandon Dunes, but the two courses are no slouches.

Yeah, they should sponsor Dumbo or Kanga-Ryu. I'm sure In Gee will be very careful in signing up sponsorship or endorsements. The potential scenarios are: 1. Win one or two LPGA events, preferably a major 2. Select an American agency 3. Sign a primary sponsor for at least $5.0 millions a year, for not more than 3 years 4. Sign complementary contracts The key is maximize In Gee's market value and not to make the same mistake as Rory McIlroy, who paid $25.0 millions to break the contract with his first management agency.

Do you really think $5M/yr endorsements are left....I think MW & The Pink Diva s*cked that well dry...Ok maybe not....Ms. Pouty face is overvalued.

Nike is paying Federer >$30 mm/yr, McIlroy >$20 mm/yr, and Sharapova >$10 mm/yr. Nike will sign In Gee in a heartbeat; provided she wins one major and 6 tournaments in 2016. She will be as hot as Nancy Lopez's rookie year in 1978, and will be named both rookie of the year and player of the year. You're probably too young to remember; but in 1978, Nancy Lopez was on the front page of New York Times, cover of Time and Sports Illustrated. It's important In Gee does it in 2016, because she will no longer be the fresh face after that.

18 Ya .....there is a ton of endorsement $'s in sports...but we are talking about the LPGA. Ya.... a female golf endorsement is petty cash to a company like Nike.....but although it wasn't big money....I think Nike is gun shy with failures like Paige Mac and Blumenherst.
For a premier Nike gal...they want one that speaks fluent English...and that's not Dumbo...and as long as Bu88les is still in the top stable...I don't think The Dark Side wants another Asian female golfer in their premier female portfolio.
I know there are a lot of Dumbo fanboys (including myself) that are expecting her to really shine in 2016....The Smiling Buddha might eat more crow again....but I think Dumbo might only win once in 2016 if none at all on the LPGA...no more than twice..... and no majors on the LPGA tour.
I see a lot of the 'IT' factor with Alison Lee....IMO...she could have been a good fit for Nike.....and could have been signed up fairly cheap. I think her UCLA courses will get in her immediate LPGA career.
I'm old.....I was a Jan Stephenson fanboy....Lopez never did anything for me...nice lady and chatted with her for 5 minutes in 1980 at St. Georges. Jan was the one and only reason why I became a LPGA fanboy.

Has anyone heard Dumbo try to speak English? Just curious.
You forgot about Grace Park & Nike...I remember seeing a cardboard display of her in a golf shop years ago.
Thanks for the challenge: 1980...St. Georges...the winner was Pat Bradley at -15, despite calling a penalty on herself in the final round. Nancy Lopez was -7. Jan Stephenson was outside the top-21 scores. Any sugar for the low Cannuck, Sandra Post (-1)?

Has anyone heard Dumbo try to speak English? Just curious. You forgot about Grace Park & Nike...I remember seeing a cardboard display of her in a golf shop years ago. I thought In Gee got her Dumbo nickname because of her incredibly sensitive hearings. That should be an asset when it comes to learning and speaking new languages. I remember In Gee spoke a little English during her interviews after she won 2015 USWO in Lancaster. So Yeon speaks English like a pro now, but how well did she speak before she joined LPGA in 2012? I'm sure HappyFan knows. Updated: Evidently, in a video, So Yeon conducted the 2011 USWO press conference in well spoken English.
