Don said :"Nice to see Kang do well. Doesn't she hang out with Gretzky. I believe she plays at the L A Country Club with Marcus Allen and Wayne Gretzky. I believe Danielle met the Gretzky's at Sherwood G&CC.

Smiling Budda 1.......HappyFan 0 ............after which you got strangely silent. What .......are you calling the Smiling Buddha 'yellow'? .....he doesn't back down from a discussion when he's right and winning....Canucks like to spar....think hockey and fighting. He didn't know you wrote something new....I think he was out playing golf that day. He never said Annie had a bad collegiate career...he said that Annie gagged it at the 2014 NCAA's when USC needed her most and that Annie was once right up there near the top of the WAGR and then started sliding...Su Oh started sliding too. I'll tell Buddha to go to that thread and comment....he'll likely do it later today or this weekend.

Impressed with Charley Hull's short game today. She cleaned up everything. Megan Khang would be a great story. Not many Hmongs in pro sports yet, if any.

Perhaps, Lydia Ko's mother placed a few rocks underneath her mattress. LMAO So are you car pooling with SayYouSeRi out to the desert for the fake major so he can listen to your humor for 2 hours. I'm not sure if we are car pooling, but if Se Ri wins we'll hold hands and jump into Poppie's Pond.

It will be nice to see Megan on TV's coverage tomorrow....we seldom saw her when she qualified for other events...e.g.) USWO, USGA events, etc. This is a good story from GC. Megan is the opposite of the Yank diva story. www.golfchannel.com/news/randall-mell/familys-support-helps-khang-succeed/A guy on WRX is supposedly Megan's dad's best friend.

I don't know if Annie Park will have a good pro career or not, but after the profile they showed today, I hope we see a lot more of her (and her mom). In just two minutes they made her seem like a great addition to the tour: interesting story, great personality, well spoken, awesome smile, crazy but fun-loving mom. I'm a hopeful fan now! The leaderboard shaped up a bit. Sei Young and Hyo Joo both right in this thing. I would especially LOVE to see Hyo Joo make some noise early to set a great tone for her sophomore year. Minjee at 3 under and Ha Na at 2 under also might be able to make a run. If Khang continues to play like this, she will be one to watch this year. But it's about to get a lot harder the next two days! Go Sisters!!!

But you are saying I said something I didn't say, which is a bit annoying. I've never said that Annie will be utterly sensational as a pro (odds are tough for even great college players), only that she and Lee were comparable as amateurs, which is true. Ah well, whatever...

Scores are down today, less wind presumably.

Mr.Know it all, Annie Park will be just fine. It's her first tournament under difficult windy conditions.
Allison did not get off to a great early start either last year. If you know so much about golf, you would understand that.

Inbee Park has announced that she has withdrawn from next week's Coates Championship in Florida. She said she has Lowe back problems and "wants to be ready for Singapore."..I assume that means she will be skipping Australia also. Is it related to her unorthodox swings? Not related. "Lower back problem" here basically means "better get my game in shape to avoid further embarrassment like this".
