I recall going to watch the Samsung at Bighorn in Palm Desert in 2007 near Se Ri's house. Lorena whipped them all but I thought Ai was by far the most charismatic player in the field. I hope she can regain her form but it is highly unlikely. I mainly watched Angela Park and Se Ri. At that time, Angela was slated for superstardom. Life is fickle.

Totally agree....Ai Chan is a doll...she has a natural smile when she's walking within or outside the ropes. Angela is one of many who quickly fell from grace and what a shame...is she still a hotel clerk at some obscure hotel in Cali? She's MIA and we need the the FBI/CIA to find out.

Toney Inbee Park is still number one Rolex Ranking. You should have spent more time checking the Ranking. Instead you spent time checking on AI Miyazato stats. Everyone knows that she is struggling. You don't have to keep reminding us. Oops on the Inbee ranking. I thought I heard on Golfchannel that Lydia was the new #1 if she won. Me Bad As far as Miyazato.....I report the facts good or bad (regardless of a players country) if I think its a stat that stands out. Instead of telling me how to spend my time.....why don't you spend yours learning how to spell a name as simple as TONY.

I don't think he playing his racist Merican card against the Asians...heck he even said he likes The Smiling Buddha.....or....maybe he said The Smiling Buddha is only tolerable. Again...I don't speak for Tony, but I gotta believe he likes and respects Ai-Chan...who wouldn't...and he's not dissing on the Japanese Golf Goddess.

Maybe the US needs to offer Ko's immediate citizenship to improve their winning record. Getting Ko's immediate citizenship is a bit of a stretch, although I would take her in a heartbeat. A better Idea would be....since Europe is a continent, and the U.S. is just a country, maybe it should be Europe against North America. That way we can steal Brooke. You Mericans have basically stolen Brooke considering how much coverage she gets on GC...much to HappyFan's dismay....Happy doesn't care much for the Canadian Princess....Brooke is young ......so she still has time to become a diva too. I'm really surprised Ottawa hasn't banged on my door to revoke my passport....I only watched Brooke for 2 holes at the CP CWO...and it might be because I wanted to watch someone in her group.

In Portland 2013, a very reliable source told me a fellow Merican was bad mouthing to others questioning Ryann's pick...yet this team mate has a poor SC record. Angela Stanford? Sounds like an Angela Stanford move.

Angela in 2013...she will be demoralized if she has to wear duds like these again:

Re Michelle Wie's first top 20 finish- she actually managed an 11th place finish in the USOpen. I expect her to play pretty well in the Solheim Cup. It seems to get her pretty fired up and she has done well. I continue to to be surprised at Ai Miyazato's struggles. I know consistent golf is a really elusive, and many players go thru ups and downs, but .... I've always loved watching that beautiful s l o w tempo on her full swing. Announcers have mentioned that her putter has let her down. I guess it usually does come down to making putts.

(tonyj5) tonyj5 Happy now. You do have something against Asian golfers. This is from my blog this week: Who's Not:
Paula Creamer, who came into this year never missing the cut twice in a row, has missed her last four.
Jessica Korda has missed the cut in 6 of her last 8 tournaments.
I guess I must have something against the American golfers also. This timing is perfect....all this drama leading up to the opening tee shot at the Solheim.....LUV IT!!! See why the Yanks can't win....Mericans hate each other.

(tonyj5) tonyj5 Happy now. You do have something against Asian golfers. I don't think Tony hates Asian golfers.....he'll chat with The Smiling Buddha for hours at the CWO. And Tony lit cyberspace on fire when he posted a pic of Muni He at this year's USWO....so much so....it's the most hits he's had on his site and they created a devoted Muni thread on the WRX site too. I also found out that Muni played out of a course I frequent often when she was a young teen a few years ago.

It seems to get her pretty fired up and she has done well. That's because BJ & Bo aren't allowed inside the ropes at the Solheim and MW isn't forced by BJ to go to the practice green for 3 hours table topping after her rd...MW is in a HAPPY PLACE.

Pairings for the first round are up.
Nordqvist/Pettersen Vs Pressel/Creamer Hull/Reid Vs Wie/Lincicome Icher/Munoz Vs Kerr/Thompson Gal/Matthew Vs Lewis/Salas
Some observations: 1) Inkster is sitting Alison Lee because of her earlier bout with food poisoning. If she can't play at all on Friday, that's a blow to the team 2) If you took Hedwall because she went 5-0 two years ago, why bench her early? Put her out there and see if she can duplicate that success. If she can't, then sit her. 3) WHY, WHY, WHY SPLIT UP THE SPANISH LADIES?! That makes absolutely no sense. 4) Sitting Piller and Stanford makes sense. I don't expect Stanford to play much 5) I'm assuming Koch is holstering Masson for the afternoon wave, when the crowd will be bigger
Early prediction: USA will be up 2.5 - 1.5. Nordqvist and Pettersen win, Kerr and Thompson win, Lewis and Salas win, Wie and Lincicome tie with Hull and Reid.
