A Lim had a nifty 66 today to vault up the leaderboard.
Jin Young doing well so far. But Haeran is still quite a bit behind Furue. The Vare is slipping between her fingers. Come on, Haeran! Rally!

The Yealimi/Marina grouping continues to sizzle picking up where they left off in Japan, both -4 on their round heading to the last.

Jeeno finishing eagle, birdie and shoots a 63. Looks like she and Angel Yin will have a useful 3 shot lead over the pack going into the final day. Most sisters now out of contention

Round 2 is in the books; overall not too bad for the Sisters. For a brief moment it looked like Angel Yin was going to run away with it, but she stumbled a little coming in and only finished at 10 under. Narin had a bad putting day, but still managed an even par round and tied for second at 8 under. Her Jin had another strong 68 to also move to -8, while the defending champ Amy Yang is lurking at 6 under. Jin Young does not seem to like the last few holes, but she's still in the top ten at 5 under. Furue made a few birdies to finish and moved to six under, now four up on Haeran. I think tomorrow will tell the tale. If Haeran manages a strong round, she'll probably get the Vare. If she struggles again, I predict she will come up short. She's had such a great year, I would love her to cap it with something great.Sisters hwaiting! Well, Ayaka picked up two more strokes in round 3. As far as I can estimate, and it's possible that I'm making a calculation mistake, she and Haeran are in a virtual tie for the Vare. If Haeran gains on Furue tomorrow, she'll get it, and vice versa. But it's a virtual tie, not an actual tie, because they have played different numbers of rounds. If they have the same 4th round score and stay separated by six strokes as they currently are after round 3, one of them will be ahead by something like thousandths or ten thousandths in her yearly average. But I can't figure out which one!

Well, that was as disappointing a round for the Sisters as you could imagine. Everything went wrong. The very first thing in the broadcast is Angel Yin sinking like a 70 foot eagle putt. She made two more really long ones after that. Everything went her way. Korda nearly made an ace, then Furue went on a tear, followed by Thitikul. Long bombs from everywhere, while the Sisters lipped out several times. Jin Young got to 9 under then stalled. No way she's winning this season, that's done. She has had trouble on the final four holes all three days. An played OK, but even she is four back with a very hard path to a win. Furue is probably in the lead for Vare, and Ryu has not had a good round yet this week. At least she still has a theoretical chance to win it, but she's going to need to actually have a good round tomorrow, no more 71s on this bunny course. Prediction: Furue will win the Vare by one shot, probably a birdie on the final hole to make it as annoying as possible. I'm on to them now! At least Hye Jin didn't have a terrible day (she usually kills herself with one terrible round per week), but that doesn't matter, she's still too far back at this point. I mean, look at this: Angel 67, Ruoning 66, Thitikul 63, Hull 66, Li 66, Suwannapura 66, Lydia 67, Boutier 67 all better than any Sister in the top 15. In fact, the worst scores in the top 15 were the three Sisters An, JY Ko and Hye Jin. The golf gods won't throw us even a single bone. Ah well, good luck to Haeran tomorrow. Let's try to wrap the season up with at least one highlight. Always hwaiting!

Na Rin scored better than Nelly today which will give her confidence tomorrow in a less stressful pairing

Na Rin scored better than Nelly today which will give her confidence tomorrow in a less stressful pairing Unless I'm mistaken, they shot the same score. Yealimi has a tall order, she needs to beat Lucy by 6 shots tomorrow to claim the season superiority!

But bogey free and better for 17 holes feels good

Karnak is looking into the future... Thitikul is definitely winning tomorrow. Unless Korda shoots a 62, which might also happen. But I predict this will be over by the 9th hole. I think there will be three Sisters in the top ten, one in the top five. Vare goes to Furue. Karnak has spoken.

Really good round by A Lim Kim among all the other really good rounds. Who knows she might score eight under or six over tomorrow, my fab.
Na Rin An had a good chance to be only two off the lead. But left good birdie putts on seventeen and eighteen online but just short of the hole. Her putt on eighteen was downhill. Sometimes I think that she is too laid back. Kind of like Min Byeol Kim, ok I missed it "oh well".

I'd be OK with Angel winning. She's a character and I like characters. But I have my doubts about it happening.
Here's hoping Haeran can go low tomorrow to pick up the Vare.
Agree with the sentiment that players should know the rules and be confident in acting upon them to help with pace of play.

This is it, SeoulSisters members... This is our last chance, our last day, our last round, to support the Sisters in the 2024 season. Just one stroke, Haeran, I think that's all you need, one stroke, I believe in you so much... Hae! Ran! Ryu!

Just one stroke, Haeran, I think that's all you need, one stroke, I believe in you so much... Hae! Ran! Ryu! Not so soon. We’ve still got Ina to support at Q school. Of course we’ll support the sisters today. Great Sunday night TV awaits me in England
