Ina Yoon moved to 32nd in the Rolex Rankings, her new career high. She is now the highest ranked player on the KLPGA tour. Yewon Lee is 35th and Ji Young Park 38th.
Youmin Hwang move to 52nd, Su Ji Kim to 55th, so all of them are eligible for Q-Series if they want. Stay tuned!

No. This is that StabLeford THINGY event at Hyun-kyung's home course where her parents met blah blah blah. NOT STROKE PLAY 😁 Thanks, they didn't have anything under format, at four days I just assumed stroke play. I guess instead of showing Hyun Kyung Park sixty percent of the time it will be seventy five percent. I checked the stats and saw that Hee Jeong Lim putting average is at 101 place and Min Byeol is 98th place. Two years ago, Hee Jeong was inside top twenty-five.

Players who make a lot of birdies tend to have an advantage in this format. Guess who leads the KLPGA in birdies? Yup, Ina. And Bang, who is the defending champ, makes a lot of birdies, too. So I'd say keep an eye on:
The top six in birdie average/round this year:
1 Ina Yoon 4.1385 2 Hyun Kyung Park 3.9452 3 Youmin Hwang 3.8806 4 Shin Sil Bang 3.7733 5 Ji Young Park 3.7692 6 Su Ji Kim 3.6324
Ga Young Lee is 31st this year btw.

The Hyun-kyung love this week is always too much. I like Hyun-kyung well enough but this week is always too much.
Anyways, the winner on Sunday will have over 40 points, which averages to five birdies per round without bogeys.

The past two champions of this event both had a great day today, shooting 18 points to take a five point lead over the rest of the field. Bang made nine birdies, and she missed a few on top of that. Ga Young did all her damage on the back nine, carding seven birdies in nine holes.
Nice day for Min Byeol as well, +13 for t-3rd. Ina had a frustrating day. She couldn't seem to keep her drives straight on the par fives, ending up in the woods whenever she had a chance to set herself up to go for the green in two. She also missed a bunch of makeable putts on the back nine. Still, a +9 given all that is not bad. She needs to start making more birdies, though, if she wants to keep up with the leaders.
Hwaiting!
