It was pretty frustrating watching the second round. Ina made a huge run up the leaderboard by the turn; she was only three or four points back. But then she started getting sloppy, doing the one thing you cannot do: making a double to kill her run. She got to 17 in two and had a makeable eagle, but ended up three putting. It ended up being slightly better than yesterday, and she sits at 20 points, still nine back of the leader.
Ga Young Lee was mediocre on the front nine but hit another birdie train on the back to maintain her lead. Bang was much the same, only not quite as strong. The big run came from Yunji Jeong, who had six straight birdies at one point and had a nineteen point day. Hyun Kyung Park, meanwhile, chipped in for eagle to move to within six.
It kind of feels like this one is already pretty much Bang vs. Lee, but I still hope Ina and/or Min Byeol can have the kind of day tomorrow that Jeong had today and get themselves back into this.

Hee Jeong Lim should be able to get more than three birdies with her eyes closed doing this birdie fest.
It's not tee to green because she is eight in GIR and fifteenth in accuracy.
When she is able to fix her poor putting, she will contend again.
Great round by Mighty Mite Seong Yeon Lee plus eleven.
Min Byeol Kim plus eight wasn't great but it also wasn't bad.
Good to see Ga Young Lee still at the top of the Leader Board.

Min Byeol is still not all the way back, but she is at least starting to appear on leaderboards (and broadcasts). Hope she can keep building on this.

Round 3 has been really frustrating. Ina hasn't made ANYTHING no matter how close to the pin. Min Byeol had a couple of great shots but otherwise she isn't doing anything, either. Meanwhile, there have been at least three hole outs for eagle by other players.
The tournament is kind of flatlining in general...

Min Sun Kim really had the golf gods on her side today. She has the lead at +35 with a +17 today, but she had TWO pitch-ins for eagle. So 10 of her points came thanks to that. I like her, but I'll be a little salty if she winds up winning with that kind of luck.
Neither Bang nor Lee had a great day today (both parred the easy par 5 17th). Meanwhile, Min Byeol had a fantastic final few holes, birdieing four straight before a slight struggle on 18 to save par. She actually had a great chance at eagle on 17, just 15 feet away, but left it slightly short. Still, at +31, she is in this thing. Ina just missed too many makeable putts by a hair. On 17 she had less than 170m in for her second but underhit it and got up and down for birdie.
