Personally, I think Youmin should have tried as well. She is the same age as Ina, and though she has only been on tour two years, she actually has more experience playing on the KLPGA than Ina. And she is a top five quality player on the KLPGA. I don't see what she gains by staying another year.
Bang is a little younger, so it makes sense for her to get more experience.

Hye Jin Choi is a little of a cautionary tale. From 2017 - 2020, she was the dominant player on the KLPGA, especially in 2019, when she won five times. But starting in 2021, her game started to lag; she only finished 11th on the money list that year. By the time she got to the LPGA full time, she was not the dominant player she once was (though she still was a strong one).
You never know how long these players will be on an upward trajectory, so I hope that Hwang will not wait too much longer before she tries her luck on the LPGA.

Ina is waffling. Even if I qualify I'm not sure I will go to the LPGA next year. Personally, I think she is trying to hedge her bets so that if she plays badly, she can back out. She can ill afford burning any more bridges, and on the off chance she messes up and has to come back to the KLPGA, she doesn't want more trouble. I'm still 90% sure she will come to the US next season. |

You are correct, Youmin is a year older than Shinsil and Minbyeol. 2003 Feb Yewon 2003 Apr Youmin 2003 May Ina Shinsil and MinByeol were born in 2004. |
