Your picks are different, they're all regular LPGA players and they all have good weeks and bad weeks. That other picks were ridiculous! Did he think those KLPGA players were playing at a Major China LPGA tournament! All three in the top five is a bit much, but it's not so ridiculous to predict a KLPGA superstar coming to the LPGA and contending or winning. In Gee, So Yeon, Jiyai, Sung Hyun Park, Jin Young, and Hye Jin all have won or strongly contended in Majors while being top players on the KLPGA (Hye Jin while she was in high school BEFORE joining the KLPGA). Of the three KLPGAers in the field, at least Yewon has comparable stats to those players, and the other two have played excellent golf much of the year. And this event rewards patient players with excellent short games, both of which describe Yewon to a T. I mean, I was expecting at least a top 30 and maybe a top 10, somewhat like how Min Byeol Kim played at the US Women's Open (but better because Lee has been much better than Kim all year). Well, she'll be back. She's too talented to stay down long. I wouldn't put too much stock in what he says. He just waits for something bad to happen to Korean golfers, so he can take a shot at them. Great golfers have bad rounds, most golf fans understand that and don't say na, na na when they do.

By the way three of those golfers from KLPGA has been number one in the last ten years. One holds the record for the length of times at number one.

I just realized that five of the six Koreans in the top 20 joined the tour in the past four seasons. Only Jin Young Ko was here pre-2020; Narin An, Haeran Ryu, Hye Jin Choi, So Mi Lee and Yu Jin Sung are all newbies. All but Haeran is looking for a breakthrough win and the chance to establish herself as one of the top guns in the next generation. Good luck to all of them! It's going to be a hard task to catch up, but if just a few of them can rally, this could be a really great final round. Hwaiting!

My predictions were not much better - Jeeno, Yealimi, A Lim all missed the cut though if my SoMi top 10 hits I'll take the wife out to a nice dinner. I'm not surprised Ewing is up there again and LC continues to champion my Solheim pick for her Something whacky is going to happen tomorrow, Pajaree or CW will win! Your picks are different, they're all regular LPGA players and they all have good weeks and bad weeks. Those other picks were ridiculous! Did he think those KLPGA players were playing at a Major China LPGA tournament! My Epson top 10 predictions posted somewhere on WRX are not doing well either though I did guess Fiona Xu and Cassie Porter who are currently 1+2 in the race for the card - I don't know whats going on with Jennie Bae, she flat lined big time this year. Ashley Lau has disappointed too.

What a finish. Being an aussie I was conflicted. There weren't a lot of players in with a chance, but the ones who were put on quite the show. To the winner I would saw Few You Great!

Furue was putting like AP at ShopRite on that back 9. I'm surprised she wasn't wearing her highlighter yellow. Congrats to her, she's been the best player this year without a win and nice validation for not making the Olympic team.

OK the spoiler alert is broken. Soooo happy for Ayaka. I've never experienced the near miss situations that she has endured already in her short career, but I imagine the victory this time around is even sweater for those days. There were plenty of highlighter colours worn by the players today, Ayaka made her score the most outstanding of the bunch. This Olympics has a # against it in my mind, given Israel involvement, so she should consider 2024 a massive success.

Great Final Round by Hae Ran Choi to move up to a solo fifth place. Hye Jin Choi didn't have a great weekend but tie for seven in a Major is really good. A shout out to Jenny Shin minus ten on the weekend. Kudos to Hyo Joo Kim, Na Rin An and So Mi Lee for top twenties. Really was hoping for Yu Jin Sung would have a good round to move up in CME. She got to minus ten through seven holes but was five over after that.
Also the Korean golfers had six in the top twenty mostly the newer golfers.

Considering how many of the Sisters were in the vicinity of the lead starting the day (albeit too far back to actually win, in all likelihood, so the drama was flat), I was hoping to see at least a few play well. The late run by Hae Ran saved the day, really. That was a great finish, culminating in an eagle on the last.
Hye Jin has not played well this year, so a top ten is a nice result for her, but it's frustrating that she didn't finish better after climbing to 12 under. Nonetheless, here's hoping this will remind her that she has some major talent and she will climb back to the heights.
What the heck happened to Jin Young? It was another average day until her disastrous finish. Yu Jin also had a so-so finish after a promising start, while So Mi ran up two late birdies to get a top 20.
Good days for Jenny and Hyo Joo, but they were too far back to ever have a chance. Credit to An, too.
I suppose this was a decent result: six Sisters in the top 20. But if there had been even one with the slightest chance of winning it would have been better. I feel like I'm going to quickly forget this one. Ah well, better luck at the Olympics...

Just realized that Jin Young's finish was so bad that she dropped behind both Korda and Vu, both of whom she had been leading by a lot all fricking week until the final two holes. Sigh.
