Probably a lot of WDs incoming. Is Sei Young going to trot out there for 4 holes tomorrow when she is nowhere near the cut line?
A few more hours in Evian is not so terrible ... nobody quit early.
Is there a clown mouth to putt through at the par-5 9th? Human made a quad there and might get her ROK passport revoked. Ginny is also wrapping up at #9 and needs a birdie to make the cut.

Hye-Jin well placed. I got in early today and hung around 18. Looks like Amy, Six and Sagstrom are together in R3. My wife wears a bucket hat so Six needs to join the club!

Round 2 It looks like the Koreans by and large did not finish round 2 well when they came back this morning. Hae Ran was tied for second at 9 under but struggled mightily, falling all the way to 5 under. Jin Hee Im also fell down and missed the cut. Youmin did not play well, either, so by the time she made a quad on the final par 5, she needed a birdie there to make the cut. All three KLPGAers missed the cut. I hope the lesson they take from that is that they need to try again and get more experience, because they are way too talented to let this setback prevent them from playing these tournaments. All three of them are good enough to win on this tour, but if they don't try a few times, how can they get there? As far as I can tell, the only Korean who actually improved this morning was Hye Jin, who moved to 9 under and is top Sister at the moment. At least Fourwall didn't increase her lead at all when she came back, so there is still a chance for the folks as far back as 5 under to make a move and get into this. Sisters hwaiting!

I hope you can give the Koreans some positive vibes this morning, Bullfinch. Amy made a double right out of the gate and Six also made bogey. Come on, Sisters! You've worked hard to put yourselves into a good position, let's have a fantastic moving day!!!!

Hwang Youmin 7:24am Park Ji Young 8:24am Lee Yewon 2pm. All three should be in the top 5 come Sunday.... thick rough...Hwang could miss the cut. This will go down as one of the best prediction in the history of Seoul Sisters Forum! Not to mention Top-5 or Top-10; all three missed the cut!

What I didn't say was "would" or "will" or "I predict:". Everyone here wants all the Koreans to do well and Ji Young and Yewon definitely have the skills to be in the top five and you all know it. We know how competative and moody Hwang is, so she missing the cut isn't anything special. Now, bad luck, jetlag, weather, and distractions likely did their toll on Yewon and Ji Young. As a core member of Lee Yewon's fan club I hear things at random times. Things I'm not going to publish. I hope Yewon refocuses and can over come this recent slump.

You've worked hard to put yourselves into a good position, let's have a fantastic moving day!!!! They’ve had a shocker. We followed them for 6 holes and Amy was already 3 over for the day. Six was doing OK. Had to leave early as we’re in Lausanne for dinner and need to catch a ferry

My predictions were not much better - Jeeno, Yealimi, A Lim all missed the cut though if my SoMi top 10 hits I'll take the wife out to a nice dinner. I'm not surprised Ewing is up there again and LC continues to champion my Solheim pick for her Something whacky is going to happen tomorrow, Pajaree or CW will win!

Your picks are different, they're all regular LPGA players and they all have good weeks and bad weeks. Those other picks were ridiculous! Did he think those KLPGA players were playing at a Major China LPGA tournament!

Actually, I'll give you the Jeeno as partly correct. Just apply the principles
"Never count out the Thais" and "When one Thai goes down, another takes her place near the top"
Or this week, another three take her place...
Top eleven after three rounds: Three Sisters, three Thais, two Americans, Kyriacou, Aye-uh-KEE, and Lindblad.

Round 3 This was a bit of a frustrating day. The Sisters basically had two types of rounds today: terrible, and decent but not quite good enough. It became really hard to follow the action with them, because they would show a great player like Jin Young Ko once every five holes. And when they showed her, it would be like 'she's coming off a double' or something like that, which you had no way of knowing because they never showed them or the scoreboard past the first page. Remember when they used to have a crawl at the bottom with everyone's scores? I wonder why they stopped doing that. Among the terrible were Mi Hyang Lee, whose destruction on the first hole was mentioned by the commentator but not even shown. Six and Amy Yang also went south, and Hyo Joo was mediocre. The rest were OK. If Hye Jin had played just a little better, she might have been in the final group or second-to-last. Even par for her. Narin and Yu Jin both missed short putts and bogied the 18th. How do they do that? Everyone was reaching the green in two! We'll never know because they were all ignored. So Mi birdied it, but she doubled 17 somehow. Jin Young went into one of her modes where she wasn't making any putts. So they all shot 1 or 2 under for the day. So you have Jin Young, Hae Ran, and So Mi at 7 under, Yu Jin and An at 8 under, and Hye Jin at 9 under. All just far enough back that they probably won't get air time unless someone catches fire. It feels like this is over, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that two of those ladies at least are going to rally tomorrow, and that Faraway and Kyra Sedgwick won't be as on the ball as today. This isn't for sure over, and the spirit of Amy's recent win and the coming Olympics will fire somebody up. Good luck, Sisters! Hwaiting!

Did he think those KLPGA players were playing at a Major China LPGA tournament! All three in the top five is a bit much, but it's not so ridiculous to predict a KLPGA superstar coming to the LPGA and contending or winning. In Gee, So Yeon, Jiyai, Sung Hyun Park, Jin Young, and Hye Jin all have won or strongly contended in Majors while being top players on the KLPGA (Hye Jin while she was in high school BEFORE joining the KLPGA). Of the three KLPGAers in the field, at least Yewon has comparable stats to those players, and the other two have played excellent golf much of the year. And this event rewards patient players with excellent short games, both of which describe Yewon to a T. I mean, I was expecting at least a top 30 and maybe a top 10, somewhat like how Min Byeol Kim played at the US Women's Open (but better because Lee has been much better than Kim all year). Well, she'll be back. She's too talented to stay down long.
