Monday, June 24 was the Rolex Rankings cut-off for allowing the top-50 to play this event. I think Bang was in the field, but she fell four spots to #53 and is out ... ditto for Chisato Iwai who fell five spots to #52. Hong Kong moved up seven spots to #45, but I don't see her name in the field ... maybe it's in the works or she was scared off by Hans and Franz.

I’m worried In Gee will still be injured so I need some back up plans. Hong Kong would’ve been good. My wife wears a bucket hat so I guess we will track down Amy Yang. Jenny Shin is good value on socials but her practice swings drive me mad - just hit the **** ball.

Nelly was bitten by a dog last weekend in Seattle and has pulled out of the LET/Saudi money spinner taking place in London outskirts on 3-5 July. I assume she will recover for Evian. Didn’t Danielle Kang suffer a nasty dog bite in the off season.

I jog a lot and there are a couple of people around here who do a poor job of leashing their canines, so I sometimes get chased by barky dogs as I mind my own business.

Don't know about DK, but it happened to Alison (Gimee) Lee, which caused her to miss Saudi/Aramco in February.

Dogs hate the Saudi Aramco events.

The last amateur spot still vacant on the LPGA website will be filled by the latest Women's British Amateur champion, Melanie Green, who I never heard of before. She became the first Yank to win this event in 28 years, 2-up in a 36-hole match over Lorna McClymont of Scotland. They played at Portmarnock GC next to the Dublin airport. Green is a recent graduate of U. of South Florida where her senior season scoring average was 69.73. She's now exempt for the next editions of Evian, AIGWO, Chevron and USWO ... and ANWA.
Three French names were added to the tourney invites - Perrine Delacour, Pauline Roussin and Adela Cernousek(a) ... one spot remains to be filled. Recent Dow winner Jeeno was already in the field, so they added Kemp and Cowan. I'm really surprised that Ronni is skipping this one and it appears that Hong Kong will skip it, too. The first three alternates are Fierro, Fassi and Yu Liu.

Put Min Sol Kim in the field you cowards! Or did she turn pro already? Well, put her in the field regardless!

Bugger! In Gee’s not in the list of 132 entries. Not sure who to follow now. No Dumbo, no party:(

I heard a rumor she might not go. Man, I don't think she would miss this if it weren't serious. I hope she gets well soon!

Six has posted on Instagram she's arrived in Evian. Jin Young was in Paris over the weekend. Seeing as my wife likes to wear a bucket hat I think we will start the week as Amy Yang groupies, depending on tee times. I expect Weds night in Evian will be fun - we will soon find out how many English are in town as the Euro football (soccer for US folk) semi-final vs Netherlands takes place the same night - I'd hope the girls will all be in bed (except Charley!) but the English caddies may have some downtime.
