KLPGA says SBS 0900 to 1800 for rounds one and two; 0900 to 1600 on weekends.
Yewon has never missed a cut at the Star Championship. Let's not make this the first.
She was about a meter from forcing a playoff at the Hanwha. (Distance between her and that umbrella)
Curious if she spent last weekend preparing at Black Stone Icheon. How could the club deny her from playing a couple rounds?

Ju Young Park won the Amino Regen Most Impressive Golfer award for June. This award is given to a player who has made significant progress in her career that month, or who had set an impressive record. Tour winners are not eligible. The award was given out after the 2nd round at the KG event. Ju Young was given the award to recognize the speed with which she returned to form after returning from maternity leave. She finished tied for 8th in her return in June at the Lotte Open, and followed that a week later with another top ten at the Celltrion.  Congrats to the Mini Rocket! |

I think touring pros are normally given "professional courtesy" to play any golf course, assuming they channel their request through the head pro or director of golf. That's probably how Sharon (aka Korea's National Guest) pops up on various golf courses you see on her IG.

MHL was with KB Star for two years (2016-17) before they kicked her to the curb.  I wasn't happy about that, but I'm glad she's not with them now ... she can't afford to play "elective" golf events this season.

Ok round for Hee Yeong plus three considering how tough the course is playing.
She had a really good front nine with three birdies and two bogeys.
But four over on the back nine with three bogeys a double bogey and one birdie.
She followed every birdie with a bogey and to make matters worse she made bogey on eighteen.
I sure wanted her to get somewhere near the top so she would get on the broadcast more.
Her swing looked really good the three holes that she was shown.

I got up and watched Yeah, Lee Won and Minji Park ping-pong their putts all around the cup at #12.  ... and that looked like one of the few easy pin placements out here. They have a Masarati parked at the par-3 16th tee ... forget about anyone winning it today, not where that flag is ... only one birdie there so far. WTH, the bunker behind the 18th green is the color of saffron rice.
Dumbo and her powder puff drives might have the smarts to steal this one from the kiddies. |
