As with everything else, the brackets/seeding information is annoyingly worse than last year and the former website layout.
They used to give you a layout of the rankings for each person in each group, but now they just show you the four people in the round robin groups without telling you who is the high ranked player as well as the rankings of the other three. But here's what we have. I'm assuming the order of the players is from highest ranked to lowest.
Upper left: 1 vs. 16 8 vs. 9
Group 1: Sun Ju Ahn, So Yeon Kwon, Jae Hee Kim, Bo Kyeom Park Group 8: Jung Min Hong (defending), Chae Eun Lee, Yeun Jeong Seo, Shin Shil Bang Group 9: Han Sol Ji, Song Yi Ahn, Chae Youn Park, Jeongmin Moon Group 16: Min Sung Ha, Ye Rim Choi, Uree Jun, Uhjin Seo
Lower Left: 4 vs. 13 5 vs. 12
Group 4: Hee Jeong Lim, Heeji Kim, Min Kyung Choi, Ye Been Sohn Group 5: Yun Ji Jeong, So Hyun Bae, Gyeol Park, Seo Yeon Yoo 2 Group 12: Jin Hee Im, Min Ju Kim, Seul Ki Jung, Woo Jeong Kim Group 13: Ayean Cho, Yu Jin Sung, Eun Hye Jo, Min Byeol Kim
Upper right: 2 vs. 15 7 vs. 10
Group 2: Min Ji Park, Ye Sung Jun, Ji Yeong Kim, Joo Mi Lee Group 7: Ga Young Lee, Su Yeon Jang, Hee Won Na, Ha Na Jang Group 10: So Young Lee, Ga Eun Song, Da Som Ma, Ji Hyun Kim Group 15: Jin Seon Han, Hyo Ju You, Se Lin Hyun, Ree An Kim
Lower right: 3 vs 14 6 vs. 11
Group 3: Yewon Lee, Seung Yeon Lee, Bo Mi Kwak, Ji Su Kim Group 6: Ji Young Park, Eun Woo Choi, Da Yeon Lee, Su Yeon Bae Group 11: Hyun Kyung Park, Ji U Ko, Yeon Ju Jeong, Hae Rym Kim Group 14: Jeong Mee Hwang, Ji Won Hong, Seung Hui Noh, Jimin Jeong
Youmin Hwang is either skipping or didn't make the field.
Group 13, headed by Ayean Cho, seems particularly tough, with both Yu Jin Sung and rookie sensation Min Byeol Kim there. Group 2 with Min Ji Park also has three other players who have won on tour.
Also missing: Su Ji Kim. She seems to have been replaced by Sun Ju Ahn. So Mi Lee also not in the field.

Congrats, Jung Min Hong! You're defending champ. For your first match your opponent will be... Shin Shil Bang. No rest for the champ.
Some other interesting round one matches:
Ayean Cho vs. rookie sensation Min Byeol Kim Hyun Kyung Park vs. Hae Rym Kim Han Sol Ji vs. Jeongmin Moon Hee Jeong Lim vs. Ye Been Sohn Min Ji Park vs. recent winner Joo Mi Lee Ga Young Lee vs. Ha Na Jang -- how quickly will this one be over?

Jung Min Hong hit a 265 meter (290 yard) drive on the 4th hole and got annihilated by Bang, who hit hers 295 meters (323 yards). On the 362 meter hole, she nearly drove the green. Insane. That's gotta be discouraging for Hong.

Day One
I watched some of this coverage and will comment on a few matches below. Some of the more interesting results:
==== Upper Left:
Min Sung Ha 5 & 4 over Uhjin Seo Han Sol Ji 2 & 1 over Jeongmin Moon HF: Moon seemed on her way to an upset, but Ji rallied and took over the lead for good on the 11th hole.
Song Yi Ahn 3 & 2 over Chae Youn Park Shin Shil Bang 1 up over Jung Min Hong HF: at first Bang was in control. Momentum swung Hong's way at the turn, and when I stopped watching she had a 2 up lead. But Bang rallied at the end to steal the win on the final hole. Hong was long, but Bang was next level.
Sun Ju Ahn 3 & 2 over Bo Kyeom Park So Yeon Kwon 4 & 3 over Jae Hee Kim
======= Lower left:
Jin Hee Im 1 up over Woo Jeong Kim Min Byeol Kim 1 up over Ayean Cho HF: This match was really close all day. They were tied after nine. Kim managed a win to take a one up lead (I recall her hitting a rolling approach to within tap-in range), but missed at least two short putts as is her habit. On the back nine, Ayean just couldn't get an iron close to get any birdies and lost by one hole.
Yu Jin Sung 5 & 3 over Eun Hye Jo Hee Jeong Lim 2 & 1 over Ye Been Sohn HF: Sohn was much longer off the tee than Lim; a couple of times she was close to 300 yards, which surprised me; I didn't realize she was that long. But she couldn't buy a putt most of the day, and that was the difference. There was one stretch where I swear Ye Been was just low on her putts five or six times in a row.
Gyeol Park tied So Hyun Bae
====== Upper right:
So Young Lee 1 up over Ji Hyun Kim Da Som Ma 1 up over Ga Eun Song Jin Seon Han 7 & 5 over Ree An Kim Hyo Ju You 5 & 4 over Se Lin Hyun Joo Mi Lee 2 up over Min Ji Park Ga Young Lee 6 & 4 over Ha Na Jang
====== Lower right:
Jeong Mee Hwang 2 up over Jimin Jeong 2 Hyun Kyung Park 3 & 2 over Hae Rym Kim HF: This was never close; Cutieful controlled this match from the start, was two up by the fourth hole and cruised.
Eun Woo Choi over Da Yeon Lee -- injury withdrawal? Yewon Lee 3 & 2 over Ji Su Kim

Min Ji Park won a hole with a hole-out eagle ... all in vain.
********
I noticed a Bobcat excavator at the 18th hole ... is this one of the prizes? Doosan is the parent company of Bobcat ... the corporate history is complicated:

That reminds me of another hole, a par 5. Jung Min Hong vs. Shin Shil Bang. Hong hit her second over the green, then pitched in for eagle. Meanwhile, Bang was sitting ten feet from the hole after two, but missed her eagle putt and Hong won the hole. That must have been pretty irritating for Bang, who seemed like the winner of that hole until that hole out! Here it is: [EDIT]: Turnabout's fair play! After I stopped watching, Bang chipped in herself to win a hole:

Did you get this from the "Shotlink-type" data on the KLPGA online leaderboard or from the TV broadcast? Even after the website change, you could still see yardage stats on its leaderboard for the stroke play events. However, when I click on the Iron Cho match, all I see are scores of two players by hole ... no working links to yardage data on the holes, unless I'm doing it wrong.
She really blew it on #18 by missing that shortish birdie putt ... still curious about what ball she switched to ... I think it was at #1 where her ball hit the green and took off like a scalded cat.

Good win for Hee Jeong Lim.
Hae Rym Kim struggled with her game. Hyun Kyung Park hit the ball all over the place but kept making midrange putts. Hit a terrible shot on her winning hole left and made a fifteen foot par putt.

Da Yeon Lee has dropped out, so everyone playing her is getting an automatic win. Ji Young Park thus has two wins already without having to hit a shot in the second round; she was scheduled to play Lee today.
