Has anyone seen a printable field list? The USGA site has a list with player pictures that is impossible to print.

Ha Ha, you ask that EVERY year and the answer is the same: NO! You're the media, ask the USGA to maintain a spreadsheet or pdf doc for such inquiries.

I played golf with a younger knucklehead tourist at the Muni and he said he and his tourist buddies are going up the coast to surf next week. He mentioned although they don't have reservations he's pretty sure he'll play Pebble Beach after the 4th. Maybe he'll be paired with Rose Zhang.

The count is now up to 152 names ... I think the new name is 1st alt. Kaili Xiao (a) of China. Kaili Xiao is 14 and has won twice on the AJGA this year. She joins previously announced alternates, Jenny Coleman, Moriya Jutanugarn, Azahara Munoz, and Kum-Kang Park.

The weather forecast is looking fantastic! Overcast with highs in the lower 60s and lows in the 50s. I'm glad I'll get away from the sunny and high 80s they're predicting for the Seattle area.

I will be catching a flight to this tournament in a few hours, so I am posting this early. My Field rating for this event is a super 85%, way up from 77.5% last yaer. Coincidentally that is exactly the same field rating as the first two Major Championships of the year. My breakdown is 82% from the LPGA Priority List and 88% from the Rolex Rankings. This may be the only time this year that the RR rating is higher than the Priority list. Why is that? Because this tournament doesn't take nearly as many players from the Priority List as most of the non-majors do. Another huge reason is that this tournament is loaded with non-LPGA stars from other tours, significantly raising the RR rating. Those non-lpga stars teeing it up this week include Rolex top 100 ranked players: Min Ji Park Miyu Yamashita Ji Yai Shin Mao Saigo Akai Iwai Chisato Iwai Da Yeon Lee Haruka Kawasaki Momoko Ueda So Mi Lee Yuna Nishimura Yuri Yoshida Big named LPGA players not in this week's field include: Jessica Korda (Injury) Inbee Park (maternity) Matilda Castren Stacy Lewis
Other Stuff: Georgia Hall's missed cut at last week's KPMG Championship stopped her cut streak at 39. Ayaka Furue captured her 6th top ten of the year. Only Atthaya Thitikul with seven has more. Thitikul also had the most top tens last season.
As expected after a major championship, there were numerous important moves in the Rolex Rankings by LPGA players. Ruoning Yin made the most important move, surging from No. 25 to No. 5. Xi Yu Lin 14-9 Leona Maguire moves into the top ten 12-10 Yuka Saso 43-24 Anna Nordqvist 42-32 Rose Zhang continues her huge climb 64-45 Nanna Koerstz Madsen 72-62 Grace Kim 82-67 Jenny Shin 98-81 Stephanie Meadow 161-89 Perrine Delacour 121-99 There were also some huge moves outside the top 100: Lauren Coughlin 149-118 Daniela Darquea 185-168 Mel Reid 214-174 Gabriella Ruffles 222-191 Haeji Kang 255-233 Marissa Steen 430-300 Alexa Pano 401-371 Look for more huge moves after this tournament!

After several counts, they are up to 154 names ... Joy Chou (1st alt) and Albane Valenzuela (Rolex top-75 on July 3) were added.
BTW, Mirim Lee will make her first start since June 2022 ... what happened to her?

My assumption on Kokona Sakurai was wrong ... she received only 17 Rolex points for winning Shiseido, which only moved her up to #78 ... better luck next year.
So Young Lee moved up to #75, but I don't know if she was ever interested in the USWO this year. She's been floating above and below the #75 position all season.

I'm learning the process ... Akie Iwai passed her Japan qualifier a while back ... but moved into the Rolex top-75 today, so she was reclassified as exempt ... as a result, they added the 1st alternate from Japan, Chizuru Komiya (a) ... and player #156 was added, Amanda Doherty (1st alt.).
