Caught some of the third round English broadcast on Youtube ... the play-by-play guy talks too much. *************** The Invisible Man ... ... and The Invisible Woman ... who wants to see a winner like this? No one, but it's a moot point when you're nine shots back going into Sunday. y ****************** NOW the 3rd round picture department is complete with the addition of Ga Young Lee - stop the hating!!!

3R Highlights.
I hope that I don't jinx Hee Jeong Lim. But I think that she will compete for the top spot this year on the KLPGA. Her game to me is that good.

I don't hate Ga Young Lee -- daum does! I get my photos from their curated collection for the event and they seemed to be excluding her for some reason. Meanwhile, this is the first time I've had a chance to really watch Hyun Ju Yoo in action. Her long game is strong, and she's long off the tee. Her problem is her putting, but she's worked hard on it and it's starting to improve. Also, the commentators mentioned that she had a tour card on the KLPGA this year. I guess she earned it at Q School? Anyways, if that's true, congrats to her! Meanwhile, she and Hyo Joo seemed to become best pals during their round. Not so much here: But here:

Congratulations to Hyun Kyung Park for a great win. Hee Jeong Lim putter went cold, had thirty five putts. Still, I think that she will challenge for number one on the KLPGA tour this year.
Kudos: To Jeongeun Lee6 for low round of minus eight.

Round 4
Lim finally ran out of gas. She didn't play terribly, but she was thoroughly pressured all day, and though she hung tough, eventually Hyun Kyung Park managed to make just enough birdies to take the lead and keep it for her first career KLPGA win and first Major as well.
Lee6 finally found her form with a blistering 64, matched by Hyo Joo. Ayean and Ji Hyun Oh were in the top ten most of the week, but just missed out on Sunday, but Da Been Heo had a great final day to grab a rare top ten for her. Ha Na Jang and Hye Jin Choi also made nice runs up the leaderboard.
Congrats to Hyun Kyung Park; she had said she wanted to make a move this year out of the shadows of Ayean Cho and Hee Jeong Lim, and this is a big step in that direction!

Haters gonna hate ... but the Naver.com collection doesn't hate.
Ga Young Lee (-8) finished T-19 with Min Ji Park, the Hulk, and Iron Cho.

Newest major champion in S. Korean women's golf gets helpful tips from world No. 1
Sports 16:58 May 17, 2020
YANGJU, South Korea, May 17 (Yonhap) -- Fresh off her first career victory in South Korean women's golf on Sunday, Park Hyun-kyung said she took advice from the world No. 1 to her heart.
Park won the 42nd Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Championship on Sunday with a four-day total of 17-under 271, beating Bae Seon-woo and Lim Hee-jeong by a stroke at Lakewood Country Club in Yangju, just north of Seoul.
It was Park's first KLPGA victory in her 29th start, and also her first major.
She entered the final round trailing Lim, the overnight leader, by three strokes. Lim, a three-time champion as a rookie last year going for her second major, looked to be in the driver's seat.
Park Hyun-kyung of South Korea kisses the champion's trophy after winning the 42nd Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Championship at Lakewood Country Club in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, on May 17, 2020. (Yonhap) And Park wasn't going to force the issue during the final round, not after what LPGA star Ko Jin-young told her Saturday.
"I talked to Jin-young on the phone, and she told me I shouldn't try to win the title," Park said. "What she meant was that I should just try to control what I can control, and not get too greedy. I kept that in mind today and it led to a great result."
Park said she worked with Ko's swing coach, Lee Si-woo, and also spent some time practicing with the 2019 LPGA Player of the Year.
"Jin-young's known for her pinpoint accuracy with her iron shots, and I think I started to resemble her swing a bit," Park added.
Park was a member of a stacked rookie class in 2019. The first-year pros combined for eight wins last year, but Park didn't reach the winner's circle in 2019.
"I was so disappointed not to have been part of that winner's group last year," Park said. "I am so happy that I got the first win out of the way in the first tournament of the year."
Park tried to keep her excitement in check, saying, "I don't think the next win will come easily for me. I have to keep trying."
