Good putting day for SO Yeon with her new putter. Started with two bogies and had six birdies to finish. Inbee had a rare three putt, but also finished with three birdies.
Na Yeon had a good round, and under par rounds for most of the Sisters.
Pulling for Ai to have good finish. She is one of my favorite golfers.

fanofseri: Henderson was a fantastic amateur and certainly doesn't appear to be another Canadian washout. Phil As always I appreciate your sarcasm. I've never really cared for any Canuck...neither Lorie Kane or even Weirsy....I like Moe Norman and George Knudson...but they were kind of before my time. BUT Go Brooke. Oh Canada!!!!

I count 28 players that have started Round 3 and none of them are under par for this round. It's supposed to warm up to 60F today. Did Stacy's Aeroburner get the heave-ho yesterday? It's suppose to be really cold there this morning. I think this is her 3 wood (a Mizuno?)....I quite sure I saw her hitting her Aeroburner driver on Thurs. Looks like Lewis is up against the United Nation all by herself.

This is your mind on Kwak. Well, I'm batting .333 as NYC and Sakura are going down the tubes, while Brooke is the Beast. What a shame for NYC's fans (including me) that the TV coverage is ignoring her, but it's defensible as she is stinking up the joint. mr3putt: Okay, now you REALLY did it...maybe I'll reply in pieces...I don't want to hijack the thread. Among the ladies, you forgot about Alena Sharp. About 7-8 years ago, she knocked off Kane as the top Hab and I thought she'd step it up as a big-time contender. But, it didn't happen and that window is almost closed...still mashes her driver, but it's not enough...today's competition is too brutal. Nice chick...followed her group a little bit at last year's Shop-Rite and she'll remember me if I wear my Flames cap again in May. As for Nancy Harvey and Angela Buzminski, well, they never left Washout City. It's too soon to judge Sue Kim and RL Benthem. Last, but not least, is Dizzy Izzy B. who, incredibly, qualified for the two USWOs that I have attended. Give her credit for upping her game and working the system to accomplish this. More on the men later...

The Sisters had a rough time of it, in the third round. So Yeon was climbing up the Leader Board until two late bogeys slowed her. Still four under is not completely out of it.
Sei Young was the only bright spot. After opening with seventy four, she has gotten closer each day. Probably too late for a win, but not a top five.
Not to sure what to make of Hanna. She is an enigma. Or Na Yeon for that matter.

It's NYC's tournament to lose. Good call....lol. Everytime you make an early call.....it's goes in reverse. HappyFan must be really upset with you jinxing NYC....he has steered away from making any posts on the 3rd round.....he's only now left with Kwak to pull off a win...and I think it's unlikely to happen for her. fanofseri I miss your witty and sarcastic posts...you've toned it down after being called out on your 'fake' Korean post.....please bring back your sense of humor...it's missed. BTW....I think Mark Wallington is on Kwak's bag and I remember Kwak was paired with Lydia on Thurs/Fri at the 2012 CN CWO.

More on the men later... Phil: You continue to impress me with your long history of golf knowledge....kudos. I've never been an Alena fan...though she's from Hamilton where I went to school from grade 4 to 13. Yes, Ontario use to have grade 13. I'm sure you know this....Buzminski is one of few or maybe the only left handed pro golfer. I'm not expecting any brilliance from Sue or RLB....they would have shown it by now. I still don't get the name Benthem...when I asked her Dad where Benthem originates from....he gave me the deer in the headlight look. I 1st noticed Dizzy Izzy at the 2003 CWO...she and hubby, Dan, are really nice people. Izzy is quite the bible thumper. At an event in Squamish....she was handing out her baseball cards after her round....on the flipside was some bible quote. Ryann O'Toole was making comments in the group in front of Izzy....Izzy was using 2 putters during her round.

mr3putt: Dude, I was in Hamilton in '96 on one of my hockey road trips! I'm pressed for time, will share the details later. Titleist is trying to make splash in the apparel department and thinks of everything...Sue Kim also gives thumbs up the TM Jetspeed in 3rd round.

JetSpeed baby...if I wasn't so cheap I'd buy a AeroBurner, G30 or Cally SR driver....but I believe the Jetspeed is likely the best value driver...and it's adjustable....the AeroBurner...not.
Titleist is very popular for players who were/are on the national Golf Canada team...so I'm not surprised to see Sue sporting Titleist mitts.

Lydia Ko came back to defend her title at the Swinging Skirts. They took this picture of her on the 18th green.

Congrats....Ko is Kool.
I'm not expecting much or anything from HappyFan's daily updates...he doesn't care for the lucky/entitled Kiwi......lol.
Nice showing by Brooke....but her young nerves got to her today...oh well she's 17 and won likely $140k+ today. I can't believe Morgan has been on a 7 year winless drought.
Many don't like Tom Abbott...but I like him cause he will say something stupid. Did you hear Tom slam Kwak's hat?...it was classic Abbott.

I really thought it would have been pouty face Lewis to come from behind and challenge today. But....maybe Stacy got fed up when she made a putt...only to her from Shanshan say...."That was a lucky putt"...ala 2013 Beijing.

Congratulation to Lydia for her come from behind win. Too bad there were no golfers there waiting for her, like Morgan had. Oh well! Min Seo Kwak finished strong after a nervous start. Kudos to the other sisters that gained top ten finishes. I did not see that final round coming by So Yeon. I figured her winning were a long shot at most, but six over. NO
