Sue Kim and Sakura Yokomine were the Monday qualifiers. They've got a ton of Chinese sponsor exemption invitees. The current alternate list:
1. Kelly Shon 2. Cheyenne Woods 3. Therese Koelbaek 4. Perrine Delacour 5. SooBin Kim 6. Sophia Popov 7. Ju Young Park 8. Garrett Phillips 9. Laetitia Beck 10. Karlin Beck 11. Maria McBride 12. Karin Sjodin 13. Becky Morgan 14. Lisa McCloskey 15. Alejandra Llaneza 16. Chie Arimura 17. Paola Moreno

Once again some of the Q-School qualifiers are shut out. What's suppose to be a full field is shortened by invites.
They had better finish at least top twenty when they get their chance. Otherwise it's back to Q-School, because there aren't that many full field tournaments left.

The q-school top 20 qualifiers can play in all the "asian swing" tournaments can't they?
I think the Category 9 - Symetra Tour top 10 qualification is too highly ranked and wasting spots in tournaments. Of the 15 who qualified with this status (5 extra with medical/maternity), only 1 is in the top 80 and 2 more in the top 100. Meanwhile the top 10 from 2014 q-school 7 of 10 are ranked in the top 100 and those ranked 11-20 aren't even qualifying to play in that many tournaments. They should put the Symetra tour qualifiers lower than q-school.

Most of the tournaments on the Asian Swing later in the season are limited events. OK thanks. Can you view the field size for upcoming tournaments anywhere?

This week is really unusual because it's actually a joint TLPGA event, so the top players of the TLPGA Tour are playing. It's similar to the HanaBank, only this one is on US soil.

This is a US Open caliber golf course so it will be interesting to see how the best player in the world plays this week. Good luck SYK!

IMO.....LPGA money earners 80-100 the previous year should have lower priority than the top 10 Symetra grads and top 20 Q school pros. Although many Symetra pros don't perform well at the LPGA level...I think they've earned the right for higher priority because they spent their time on the Symetra tour.

I think it is much tougher being a journeyman player on the LPGA, as there is so much more (potentially international) travel involved. Yes, you make more money than on the Symetra tour, but that gets eaten up by the travel. You are guaranteed to be in the field far less often, and might have to travel around trying to Monday qualify. And even if you do get into the field, making the cut is not easy. So all that work and no payday at the end of the week. And on top of that, they are far better golfers usually than the top ten on the Symetra!

Good start by Hana. My pick for ROY. Hope that she can keep it going the next three days. Not an easy course to score on unless you have twenty three putts like Lewis had.

It's NYC's tournament to lose. From what I can tell, she is one of the classier gals on tour. Good luck to her.

fanofseri: That will earn you some Xs and Os from NYC (what a pleasant thought), but after only two rounds I think you're a little premature. Henderson was a fantastic amateur and certainly doesn't appear to be another Canadian washout. Then there's Yokomine, who will probably have an army of photographers on her heels...with 20+ wins in Japan, this should be old hat by now. Even this 18-year-old is still in it:

I count 28 players that have started Round 3 and none of them are under par for this round. It's supposed to warm up to 60F today. Did Stacy's Aeroburner get the heave-ho yesterday?
