The LPGA rightly stresses the diversity of the players and pointed out the variety of countries populating the leaderboard after the first three rounds. But it seemed to me that the Koreans performed much better in the final round versus the players from other countries. So I did quick analysis to see if my theory held water. Overall, the Koreans shot two strokes better on average than the other nations (~69 1/4 vs ~71 1/4). The top ten Koreans shot on average 68.3 versus 69.8 for the non-Korean top ten and that's propped up by the 67-65-67 of Nasa, Nelly and Carlota. What was it with the lack of marshals to control the crowds? I thought the Korean fans knew enough not the stroll as you please when players are getting ready to tee off. The 30,000+ Korean fans on final day may have something to do with good performance by Korean players. Fans certainly helped In Gee; it must be disheartening for Charley, Ariya and Danielle, who played in last group but in desolation.

In Gee's most clutch shot of the winning day; the impressive chip in putt for par at par 3 12th.

Watched the first 3 rounds of the Golf Channel's coverage. First round coverage was more frustrating than usual. While coverage will always skew towards the leaders especially in later rounds, why not use the first round to highlight some of the excellent KLPGA players that we typically don't get to watch. We saw a few holes of Seon Woo Bae and Ji Hyun Kim, but others only briefly. This was a missed opportunity for the LPGA. The Golf Channel should put a camera on each group and lets the viewer choose and pay for the players they want to follow. Each week you end up watching the same 10 or 12 players, and by the end of the year you're bored stiff.

Too bad Sirak doesn't realize Charley won the CME a couple of years ago. . .He wrote "For Hull, who was alone in second place, it was another step toward garnering her first LPGA victory.". . .Also you wonder when will certain announcers ever learn how to pronounce Sung Hyun's name. . . while I'm on this rant, did you read the AP article? www.lpga.com/news/2018-chun-wins-lpga-keb-hana-bank-championship . . .They refer to In Gee as "In". . .

Grateful to the suits at Hana for pressuring Minjee into showing some leg. She looked fantastic.

She did, but how about the style of Lucky 6 and Ji Hyun Oh?. . .I could stand watching them play at every LPGA event. . .

If you're LPGA you just show up to a Korea U sporting event and they give you a diploma.

I've become a fan of Matt Cooper Covering Korean Golf is a right of passage. We'll see if he keeps it up after the obligatory opening salvo.

This tourney even gives out a green jacket like the Masters. Little known fact, it's to cover up as many competing sponsors logos as possible for the trophy photos. The ANA goes as far as to make them jump in a pond first, which is an embarrassment imo.

Another congratulation to In Gee. While the other contenders were swinging from the hips. In Gee was turning in a golfing Masterpiece. As they say" it was worth the price of admission."
Good to see Jin Young Ko turn in the type of round she is capable of. Jessica Korda finally had a great round, sixty six.
Kudus to the other players for great final scores.
